Title: Was LHO at the Atomic Energy Museum in July, 1963?
Post by: Thomas Graves on January 18, 2019, 05:47:13 PM
So many dog-gone questions:

1) Did an impostor forge Oswald's signature?

2) If so, why did he or she write in "USSR"?

3) I mean, I mean, I mean ... Did they, or did someone else write "USSR" in after the assassination?

4) Does "Dallas Road" suggest that it was an impostor?

5) What about the handwriting?  Is it Oswald's?

6) If Oswald did it, why did he write in "USSR"?

7) Did he?  (See above)

8 ) If it was Oswald, how the heck did he get around like that?  David Ferrie fly him around?

9) What day of the week was it?

10) Was Oswald supposedly working at the time?  "Looking for work"?

11)  Etc, etc, etc, etc, etc

Bumped for Jerry and the boys.

Did an impostor forge Oswald's signature?  Yes......

why did he or she write in "USSR"?....  Just a guess.... The USSR was written to make the signature stand out.....Who ever forged the signature wanted it known that this person ( Oswald) was from the USSR.....

Did they, write "USSR" in after the assassination?...NO

Does "Dallas Road" suggest that it was an impostor?   YES... Because "Dallas Road" isn't an address....  Whoever wrote that should have included a number like....2915 Dallas Road.

What about the handwriting?  Is it Oswald's?  NO!

Dear Jerry,

I'm 69 years old and somewhat technologically challenged, so why don't you do it?

Regardless, care to comment on the subject matter of this thread (which I set up for you and Richard Smith and the boys)?

Thanks,

Mudd Wrassler Tommy.

Dear Jerry WALT,

How do you know it's not Oswald's handwriting?  What have the experts said (if anything)? Are you a handwriting expert?

How about the "Dear Mr. Hunt" letter -- do you think Oswald wrote that? (KGB defector Mitrokhin said the KGB had forged it.)

Have you considered the possibility that Oswald wrote "Dallas Road" because he didn't want to disclose his exact address?

Note that after 'Dallas Rd' the city [slider to the right] is spelled 'Dalls' in typical 'Oswald scribble-write' ;)
Note I did not write Walt's post for him. The Cakemeister doesn't think it was Oswald ...I can't say for sure.

I know you asked Jerry the question, but I've long been interested in the "Dear Mr hunt" note......

And I definitely believe that Lee Oswald was the author of that note .....

WALT,

Former KGB officer/archivist Vasili Mitrokhin says it was forged by the KGB.

Do you think Mitrokhin was an agent of the evil, evil, evil CIA?

Who knows what Mitrokhin said...and for what reason?   How can you be 100% certain that a KGB agent wasn't lying?

Do you think Mitrokhin was an agent of the evil, evil, evil CIA?

How the hell would I know where Mitrokhin's true loyalty lay.???   Spies are chameleons .....

Dear WALT,

What do you mean "Who knows what Mitrokhin said"?

LOL

Good point about spies, though (But who said Mitrokhin was a "spy"?  Are true defectors "spies", just like false defectors?), because, as JJA said in his Church Committee testimony, "A double agent will tell you 98 percent truth, and 2 percent lies, and really screw you up, boy."

Since we now know that Yuri Nosenko was a false defector (just ask John Newman and Peter Dale Scott), and since Mitrokhin implausibly claimed that Nosenko was a true defector, Mitrokhin must have been a false defector too, and so what he said about Mark Lane and about the "Dear Mr Hunt" and about "XYZ" ... Hmm ... what are we to think about that?

LOL

There's an old adage that says:..."A good lie has to be wrapped in layers of truth"....

Was LHO at the Atomic Energy Museum in July, 1963?

Tim,

Oswald's name was signed onto the page for July 26, 1963, at the American Museum of Atomic Energy in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. See the bottom of page 4 in the "Did
Oswald Go To Mexico City?" thread.

Odd we didn't have a picture so here....

The 'Oswald' date entered [7-26-63] does not look like the same handwriting. Neither does USSR. All but a couple of the signatures present are from Texas.
Dallas in the 'Oswald' line looks like Dalls and 'Texas' is very sloppily done.

When was this signature first spotted does any  one know? Obviously it was after the assassination, but was it days, weeks, months or years?

Kind of odd someone would even go back and look at a guest book. You would even bother doing such a thing?

A guy named Wood who signed the line above 'Oswald' was located and interviewed.
He apparently attended a seminar on atomic energy.

The night after July 27, 1963, Oswald was to make a speech against communism to Jesuits in Mobile, Alabama. Surely Oswald would have mentioned a trip to the museum on the long car journey from New Orleans to Mobile?
