My time trials performed in November of 2025:
Walk from the Depository front steps to the point Oswald boarded the McWatters bus... 6:55
Allow for four minutes being on the bus (McWatters testified "not over four or five minutes)... 4:00
Based on McWatters statement of where it was that Oswald exited the bus, walk over to the Greyhound station... 3:26
The cab ride from the Greyhound station to Beckley & Neely... 4:53
Walk from Beckley & Neely back to the rooming house... 5:54
Allow for one minute back inside the room (Earlene Roberts testified that Oswald was in his room "just long enough to grab a jacket and put it on")... 1:00
Allow for two minutes to be seen by Earlene Roberts standing at the bus stop outside the rooming house.... 2:00
Walk from the bus stop to Tenth & Patton... 12:20
Total time... 40:28
So if I leave the Depository at 12:33, I arrive at Tenth & Patton a little after 1:13 PM
===========
And keep in mind, on the Unsolved History special, the Gary Mack-Dave Perry Oswald double walked from the rooming house to Tenth & Patton literally a full minute faster than me.

It should be noted, I did pause the timer at the three red lights I came to while driving from the Greyhound station over to Beckley & Neely. I was performing these tests to determine for myself the EARLIEST one could arrive at Tenth & Patton.

Two comments;
Your calculation is correct when all the estimated times are spot on. When they are not, the calculation is pretty worthless.
And thank you for proving that Oswald couldn't have been at 10th/Patton to kill Tippit, if that happened prior to 13.12.

Bill: If Oswald had walked directly from the rooming house, using the straightest/shortest route, to the movie theater about how much time would it have taken? What time would he have arrived?
