They have a pristine print of the Dallas Cinema Associates film, even has it listed on their site, but the video has not been released or scanned  :(

I have a 1080p scan of the DCA film if you'd like. Shoot me an email and I'll send you it.

Regarding your Zapruder Film source, I have that DVD too. I have found a much better Zapruder Film Copy on "YOU TUBE". It is titled, "Zapruder Film JFK Assassination Best Quality HD 1080p"   by - windvale  (:28). The individual frames are Not numbered, but this is definitely the best Zapruder Film copy I have seen that is freely available to the public.  Between the sprocket holes, this Z Film copy shows SA Clint Hill atop the Limo trunk, looking back up Elm St as the Limo approaches/passes the Ft Worth sign. Jackie is back inside the Limo, so we are seeing SA Hill after the Altgens photo. Hill is intently looking back up Elm St to the point that his chest is facing Main St.

I think we'd probably get a much better copy if we merge various sources (notably The Lost Bullet or something)

The YOU TUBE source I gave you has better Z Film definition than, "The Lost Bullet" Zapruder Film.

Well, i'll try and see if i can find the original source for it, Youtube doesn't provide lossless video for a good restoration

  (1)  I own "The Lost Bullet" DVD. (2) I have watched the YOU TUBE video I previously referenced. The difference between these 2 Z Film copies is obvious to the naked eye. "The Lost Bullet" is now 15 yrs old. Technology has marched on since "The Lost Bullet" did their spit-n-polish on the Z Film.

What difference does it make how good a copy you get of these various movies. Some people are still going to be stumped by a simple case of double murder that the DPD solved the day it happened. By the time I got home from school, they already had the perp in custody.

Well, imagine this, you have a low quality copy of a film, right? that film you have shows something that could prove a conspiracy, but then you acquire the best public copy and find out that copy does not have the earth-shattering stuff your previous low-quality copy had.
