There is likely a consensus that JFK has been struck at this point. JFK appears to be reacting to something, that appears to be a painful blow.
Gov. JBC is a different story. By JBC's account, he is beginning to turn around to see what has happened to JFK. JBC has heard a gunshot, which he says he recognized as a rifle shot.
In Z-248, JBC is holding in his right hand his Stetson hat. JBC's wrist appears uninjured. This is an image of what happened to JBC's radius bone:
There is a large hole in JBC's radius, where a slug smashed through, passing from the dorsal to the ventral side, in the wrist-adjacent part of his arm.
This is what Gov. JBC told the HSCA:
Connally: I was knocked over, just doubled over by the force of the bullet. It went in my back and came out my chest about 2 inches below and the left of my right nipple. The force of the bullet drove my body over almost double and when I looked, immediately I could see I was just drenched with blood. (1 HSCA 42)
Obviously, in Z-248, JBC is not doubled over. JBC is holding his Stetson, in what appears to be an uninjured wrist.
I have reasonable doubts about the SBT-LNT. The SBT-LNT are theories, and Arlen Specter developed the SBT working on the premise that there was a lone gunsel, who fired three times, and one shot missed. If one adheres to those premises, the SBT is the result.
Caveat emptor, and draw your own conclusions.

Your points are all well taken but one has to be careful about basing conclusions on the zfilm without fitting it to the rest of the evidence. The rest of the evidence tells us that there has been only one shot to that point. Governor Connally and Nellie always insisted he was hit in the torso on the second shot. So, if the Connallys were right, you are right: he has not yet received his chest wound. Arlen Specter created the SBT to explain how a shot through JFK’s neck could have missed leaving a mark in the car. He concluded that it must have hit Connally. That is a reasonable conclusion. But the correct answer has to fit the evidence. His SBT doesn’t fit the evidence. There is a simple explanation that does.

The X-Ray of the wrist injury is NOT Connally's.
It is either profoundly ignorant or deceptive of you to present it as such.
It is an image of what ACTUALLY happens when a bullet passes through a radius.
This is the actual X-Ray of Connally's wrist injury
(https://i.postimg.cc/L8996x5s/JBCwrist-Xray.png) (https://postimg.cc/LnWKxBzd)
Note, there is no hole passing through the bone. No hole that represents the passage of a bullet through the bone. The bone has fractured, nothing more.
The image you posted is pure disinformation whether it was done accidentally or not.
I have zero doubt that now you have seen the real X-Ray it will still not change your opinion.
So much for "caveat emptor".

I posted this on "When Was JBC Hit?".
It demonstrates what nonsense the premise of this thread is.
The observation, that JBC doesn't look injured at z248, is utter nonsense;
"I created this GiF to highlight JBC's reaction. I used z223 and z240 which represents a time gap of 1 second. A single second. Look at the difference between the two images and consider there is a single second between them:"

When I read the OP, this was going to be my response. A faulty premise will invariably lead to a faulty conclusion.
I wasn't going to go to the trouble of making a GIF, so that's a real nice contribution. Are you paying attention, Andrew Mason?

This is an x-ray of Gov. JBC's wrist, as accepted by the Warren Commission. If you do not accept it, that is fine.

That is not the Commission exhibit of Connally’s wrist. That is CE854 (https://history-matters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wcvols/wh17/html/WH_Vol17_0438a.htm) which is an xray of a human cadaver wrist that had been struck by a bullet at full speed. This was prepared by Dr. Olivier of the Edgeware Army laboratory for the WC (5 H 81). That is not what Connally’s radius looked like at all and is not what Dr. Gregory described. Dan showed the actual xray. Why not go directly to the Warren Commission exhibit? (https://history-matters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wcvols/wh17/html/WH_Vol17_0187b.htm). There are several sites where you can view the exhibits.

I agree that there has been only one shot by z240. z240 is quite consistent with JBC doing what he said he did, and what Nellie and Gayle Newman and Bobby Hargis observed JBC did, in response to the first shot. In fact, Hargis thought that JBC was hit on the first shot because of the way he reacted.
The problem with your scenario is your insistence that JBC falsely imagined he was not struck on the first shot.
It is also at least interesting that JBC does not move his right arm after z271. In z240 he has yet to swing his right forearm from somewhere below to right in front of what would become the chest exit wound.

Have you forgotten about his sudden and rapid arm flip at Z226?
Anyone who can look at the footage immediately following JFK's reemergence at Z225 and can't see that JBC has obviously been hit is not a person who should be taken seriously. Trust me on this. We don't take you seriously. Neither the LNs nor the CTs.

I can’t tell from the zfilm whether he is hit in the chest and wrist at z225. Neither could JBC or Nellie. At least Dan, and Altgens, and 45 others who recalled that the last two shots were close together agrees with me that there has only been one shot to that point

He was only shot one time.

He was only shot one time.
We don’t really have any evidence that he was struck by only one bullet other than JBC said he felt only one bullet impact. The wounds are different and JBC did not feel two of his wounds. Everyone just assumed he was hit only once.

Yes we do. Just because you can't figure out something so simple doesn't mean the evidence doesn't exist.

It's staring you in the face in the Z-film.
