Title: Education Forum Goes Off the Rails
Post by: Benjamin Cole on June 09, 2026, 01:27:59 AM
These are the most recent threads started in the Education Forum.

The (dis)Education Forum is now less about the JFKA, and more about Jews and Zionism, and 9/11, the USS Liberty, Gaza, and that the Jews murdered JFK and RFK.

It gets uglier, but...who wants to read this stuff? I guess Ed Forum adherents do.

Those threads are turning into Saturday Night Live meets Monty Python. Leslie Sharp is pushing the Nazi angle. There seems to be general agreement that a viable conspiracy theory requires the involvement of, well, Pretty Much Everyone - although, as we all know, the CIA was the primary organizer of the festivities. Jimbo has a useful contribution  ::) referencing "what really happened at Bethesda," "the long hidden connection between Trafficante, the CIA and Jack Ruby," and "the final connecting dot McWillie" (was he Jewish or a Nazi - I can never remember?). And, of course - OF COURSE - Garrison!

And on it goes.

As we all know, the CIA was the primary organizer of the [JFK assassination].

Dear Fancy Pants Rants,

By "the CIA" do you mean the regular CIA, or the KGB-controlled CIA?

You've never heard of Bruce Leonard Solie, Leonard V. McCoy, or Russia-born George Kisevalter, have you.

No wonder you're so ignorant.

LP-

Indeed, the (dis)Education Forum is gushing with new found vigor for fresh, evolved and endlessly convoluted JFKA CT's, with some positing the Nazis and Mossad actually got along, in the postwar era.

I guess, with the Jeffries post, the (dis)Education Forum is now open to threads on any topic, as long as Israel and the US are the bad guys.

The JFKA has become only a prop with which to promote one's demented ideologies and ethnic hatreds.

Forgot to add......You're welcome Ben!

he he he

Are you related to former Ed Forum contributor, Robert L. Wheeler (aka Bill Taylor of "Deep State Analytics"), by any chance?

No, that notice does not mean you've been banned. It means the JFK Assassination Debate section of the EF is no longer operating, perhaps because they were unable to pay web-hosting bill.

James Gordon was the owner, and just told us a couple of years ago he wasn't going to have any more dealings with it,and was going to let it go. he did not care what would happen to it.Sandy was head of funding but has passed. Simkin was back, but since James refused to sign it over to anyone, the Forum was unable to remain.

While I see that Dr. Niederhut was a problem to many of you, the sad part of the Forum's absence was that for years, many JFK authors etc, had posted there. Whether LN or CT, that Forum was a great resource.

I have been gone for quite awhile, and just received an email from one of the Admins that it was gone.  I wish it would have been archived, at least.

They say the internet is forever, but I don't know how to retrieve it. Invision will not let anyone but Gordon make decisions on it, and God only knows where he is.

All of the Ed Forum is gone, not just the JFKA section.

Given the piddling donations they received and the almost desperate pleas for money, I can't picture James Gordon absconding with the $83.12 or whatever there was. He always seemed like a very decent guy to me.

As for the money, that is true. Sandy had charge of the funds. But I fault him greatly for his apathy to all of the years put and information put into that Forum, which Simkin had started. He just threw it away.

Ben, stop pretending to be Veronica and messing with our minds. You're overdoing it, guy. Just create some ordinary sock puppets, willya?

(Well, of all the nerve! "Veronica" deleted her vicious attack on Ben after I had posted the above, leaving my witty post to seem even more inane and pointless than usual. One suspects that "Veronica" may be a certain Harvard-trained psychiatrist.)

Like everything about the JFKA, even niggling and unimportant details, I am not sure who "Ms. Wheeler" was.

I suspect it was a Kirk Gallaway, but who knows?

Niedernut was the death knell for the Education Forum?

Gordon said he was weary of endless EF antics a couple of years back. I can see why, when Niedernut assumed the helm, Gordon simply walked off. Enough is enough. The EF-JFKA was no longer a forum.

Maybe Gordon began to worry about liabilities associated with owning a forum dominated by anti-Semitic crackpots, especially given his residence in Great Britain. What if an EF reader was inspired or prompted to perp a violent act? People in Great Britain are sometimes put in jail for expressing views online.

Niederhut all but justified the assassination of Charlie Kirk, stating that Kirk has engaged in "stochastic terrorism."

Egads. Perhaps Gordon has just washed his hands of the mess.

WOW! Just WOW! If anyone would care to see what NiederNut in full flight looks like, check out the last couple of pages of this thread. Led by James Wilkinson, a number of the members have turned on the illustrious Harvard-trained psychiatrist, and he does not handle it well. Wilkinson ends up thanking God that he isn't one of the good doctor's patients. This is Exhibit A for what I am always talking about - i.e., intelligent, highly educated, able to hold a responsible position but pretty much nuttier than a fruitcake in assorted compartments of his mind. One would hope that Some CTers We Could Mention would have the introspection to look in the mirror and ask, "Good God, is this perhaps me as well?" Or at least look at some of the high-profile hucksters of their pet theories and ask, "Eek, is this guy perhaps just another NiederNut?"

EF-JFKA participant James Wilkinson defines William Niedernut's role as moderator at the forum thusly:

If this is indeed The Current State of the JFK Education Forum, then perhaps it is for the best if it can’t be continued. Provided a way is figured out to preserve its decades of rich, insightful discussions, of course.

If I were an intel agent tasked with disrupting this board’s ability to collaborate on new leads and other developments, I wouldn’t waste my resources on lone-nut defenders, not when there are plenty of them who do so out of good faith.

No, I’d direct my asset to fixate on 9/11 Truther narratives to the exclusion of any other topic, including the one purportedly at hand, sowing redundant rounds of division and name-calling at the slightest prompt. I’d want them to otherwise toe the line when it comes to popular JFK conspiracy theories so they’d amass enough credibility to angle for a moderator role.

Because with the authority to ban contributors while deleting their allegedly offending posts, that asset could then also ban anyone who criticizes their Stalinesque abuses of authority.

By the time they’re ever sidelined as moderator, the damage will have already been done.

Now I don’t really think William is an asset tasked with chaos and disruption on this Forum. That’s not the point.

The point is that if I were in the position to run such an operative, that hypothetical asset couldn’t have done a better job than what William’s actually managed here in real life. If one’s behavior is indistinguishable from that of a hypothetical saboteur, after all, then isn’t the distinction between those alternatives one that’s without a meaningful difference?

Say what one will about a witting saboteur, but at least they actually accomplish what they aim to do, because at least they know what they’re doing.

He continues to defend Holocaust denier Ron Unz from that description in the face of well-supported evidence—now by insinuating that there’s some sort of cryptic significance to the use of the 6-million-Jews figure before the war.

And hardly anyone but myself bothers to challenge this odiousness. When we’re reduced to arguing over the definition of Holocaust denialism, the denialists have already won the debate.

It’s a fitting end, really, to what was for so long an extraordinary project. But everything has its own lifecycle. Once any message board drifts into tolerance of Holocaust denial, it’s usually a sure symptom of the inevitable.

It’s all the more ironic that the most disruptive elements dedicate their time and efforts toward this end unwittingly, free of charge. At least it could be argued that they’re saving the taxpayers some money, I suppose.

The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves. Indeed.

---30---

On target.

The question is, why did EF-JFKA founder John Simkin sit on his hands for months and months as Niedernut (in addition to other defects, Niedernut a WWII holocaust-denier) destroyed the EF-JFKA?

The latest word is that the legal owner, or legal operator (I can't tell which), of the EF-JFKA, named James Gordon, has been located. Evidently, the EF-JFKA had plenty of money in a Go Fund Me till, but was not paying the site's host. No one seems to know where the money is now, or how to pay the site's web-host.

Steps have been taken to preserve the EF-JFKA's content for heritage. I guess that includes the demented rantings of William Niedernut. There is endless bickering and sniping even yet among EF-JFKA participants.

My advice to JFK Assassination Forum participants: Don't go down the sniping road. Be collegial. Don't insult. If you have a different point of views, respectfully express them. Confine your present-day political rants to the "U.S. And International Politics" thread.

Among the many mistakes Simkin made was starting numerous threads on present-day topics, evidently as he wanted a sounding board for his views. This led to un-ending gangbang-juvenalia on Trump. But anyone can read anti-Trump blabber anywhere on the 'net in profusion. So why did the EF-JFKA exist?

On the Zionism post at the Ed Forum with which Ben started this thread, Greg Doudna said a very wise thing yesterday:

On antisemitism. It must be condemned and repudiated, no less than any toxic racism. Here is one sure “tell” of antisemitism, which I know a little about in my field. When one hears invocation of the Gospels’ anti-Jewish tropes. This is the terrible hidden secret and burden of Christianity, that its very Passion salvation foundation origin myth [that demonizes] Jews, is antisemitic, scapegoating Jews for killing God. If you see or hear that, even as allusion from otherwise secular people, then you can KNOW antisemitism is going on.

This "Jews killed Jesus" thing really is the root of antisemitism, as opposed to legitimate questioning of the policies and practices of the political state of Israel. The error in the opposite direction that we hear all the time is that the political state of Israel must receive blind, unwavering support because "the Jews are God's chosen people." (Even if they actually are, equating the Jews with the political state of Israel is a category mistake.)

As you may or may not know, the Second Temple and the city of Jerusalem were razed and the Jews were driven out and enslaved by the Romans in 70 AD as a result of the First Jewish Revolt that began in 66 AD and ended at Masada in 73. The four Gospels and Acts were all written after 70 AD, when being a Jew was a risky and dangerous thing to be. Conversely, being pro-Roman was an entirely unrisky and non-dangerous thing to be. Not unsurprisingly, the Gospels and Acts and even some of the epistles have a distinct pro-Roman and anti-Jewish slant, going so far as to portray Pilate (who was finally recalled by Rome because his cruelty threatened peace in the region) as not such a bad guy and really kind of a philosophical sort - and even putting anti-Jewish and pro-Roman statements into the mouth of Jesus. Historians are in pretty much unanimous agreement that the Romans would not have hesitated a moment to crucify Jesus (probably precipitated by his outburst in the Temple) and that there is no way the Jewish populace would have been screaming for his death (after supposedly welcoming him into the city with cries of "Hosanna!" days earlier). Some members of the Sanhedrin may have been complicit, but certainly not "the Jews."

In short, the whole "Jews killed Jesus" (or "Jews killed God") thing is, as Greg says, a myth that has haunted and demonized the Jews for 2,000 years. I have relatives who care less about Jesus than I care about Scientology but who nevertheless "hate the Jews" for this bogus reason as though "hating the Jews" were simply what all decent people should do. It's completely ridiculous.

OK, but it is being used precisely like racism because of the underlying myth of the Jews as "Christ killers." Otherwise, the visceral hatred of the Jews is inexplicable. People don't just adopt antisemitic attitudes out of thin air. There is no comparable racist-like hatred of Egyptians or other cultures because they weren't "Christ killers." As I stated, that myth has now snowballed where people who care little or nothing about Jesus are antisemitic and really can't tell you why. (As an historical document, the Bible is not a fairy tale; it holds up well insofar as it describes the history of the periods in which it was written.)

LP--

What is sad is that the anti-Semitic, anti-Israel crackpots came to roost at the Education Forum-JFKA, under the wing of William Niedernut, and the dull uncomprehending stare of John Simkin.

The EF-JFKA was long troubled by dubious moderation, and incessant bickering, sniping and trading of juvenile insults.

But it went off the rails under Niedernut.

Maybe the EF-JFKA can recover, or maybe the ship has sunk. We will see.

The Ed Forum is once again offline, although it certainly appears from the discussions that they anticipate being able to salvage it ("salvage" being the operative term when what you are saving is a wreck  :D). James Gordon is my new hero for all the trouble he has managed to cause. If they would simply say "Absolutely no more references to non-JFKA topics, specifically 9/11," they would improve things by 97% - and Niederwacky would banned the first day, which would improve things an additional 2.9%.

Even with 9/11 banned, the crackpots would worm in there with the "Mossad perped the JFKA and RFKA" theorizing, or comparing what JFK would have done with LBJ, and all the presidents since, all of whom answered to Tel Aviv and not US voters, and all of whom were compromised by Jews.

James DiEugenio evens subscribes to lunatic narratives fabricated by Joan Mellen, that Israel intentionally tried to false-flag sink the USS Liberty so that LBJ could say Egypt did it, and LBJ had four jets armed with a-bombs en route to Cairo...but the USS Liberty did not sink, so the a-bomb attack was called off. This gets nuttier when Mellen asserts the captain of the USS Liberty was in on the gag. The National Enquirer would balk at this crap.

The EF CT'ers are so demented it almost makes me an LNT'er on the spot. This is my milieu? P.U.

Education Forum has not been paying it's bills and the "owner" James Gordon just pretty much disappeared. And Envision who hosts the site will not let anyone other than James Gordon pay the bills!

So Education Forum went Poof! as of June 20, 2026 and it will stay that way until James Gordon reopens it ... assuming of course that James Gordon is actually alive.

I.e., bloated by gas-producing bacteria that feed on internal tissues? Yes, that sounds about right. Let's take this a step further and identify some of the gas-producing bacteria by name, shall we?

Actually, I've hardly ever enjoyed a soap opera more than the last month or so of "Days of Our Ed Forum Lives" ("Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our Ed Forum lives.")

(Yet another Soviet anecdote: I was too old to watch "Santa Barbara," which aired from 1984 to 1993, but my wife tells me it was wildly popular in the USSR. So popular that even today, if a situation becomes ridiculously messy and complex, everyone knows what you mean if you roll your eyes and say "Oh, my god, Santa Barbara." Within three minutes of entering Minsk in 2007, I was surprised to see a huge billboard advertising "House MD" with Hugh Laurie. Another hoot was watching old episodes of "Bewitched" in Russian.)

The “antisemitism” preceded the Christ killing fairy tale. And it also happens in non-Christian countries which are now banning Israeli tourists for reasons nothing to do with the death of Christ. Thailand has had major problems with them. How the hell do you piss off Buddhists? Yet they managed to do so.

Until the 20th century, Muslims had far better relations with Jews than Christians. Jews often welcomed and assisted the Muslims during the Arab conquests and had no problems serving in the imposed caliphates.

Like the racism card, the antisemitism card has been used so often that its effectiveness is disappearing.

I'm not following your logic. If "they" pissed off the Buddhists of Thailand, doesn't this suggest you think there is something about "them" that pisses people off? This would be different from what I view as antisemitism, which is hatred of Jews simply because they are Jews. I believe Ben lives in Thailand, so maybe he can weigh in. From my reading, there really was nothing we would call antisemitism much before the "Jesus thing." Jews were always outsiders because they insisted on maintaining their culture and religion instead of blending in. I suppose this could be called antisemitism of a sort, but the hatred of the Jews simply because they are Jews seems mostly to flow from Christian mythology. French philosopher René Girard, who is the leading authority on scapegoating, has written extensively on how the Jewish people are the prototypical historical example of scapegoating and that this flows entirely from the "Christ killer" myth.

It’s not “my interpretation” it’s just a reasonable interpretation of what has actually happened. And not just in Thailand. Cicero, for one had criticized their behavior.

It’s not “my interpretation” it’s just a reasonable interpretation of what has actually happened. And not just in Thailand. Cicero, for one had criticized their behavior.

Kevin, would you consider southern whites' descriptions of dislike of blacks of former generations as weight toward perfidy of blacks? Where I live Chinese workers were brutally driven out of town en masse a century ago. The Chinese laborers were driven out because they were disliked, even though they had done nothing to deserve it. Is the fact that ethnic groups are disliked evidence that they deserve it? Of course not. That seems to be your logic with the Thailand and Cicero examples? Isn't that blame-the-victim logic?

Essentializing ethnicities or major world religions or races in demonizing ways is so deeply-rooted and wrong. As Ashley Montagu said in the title of his book debunking 19th century scientific racism: race was "man's most dangerous myth". Essentializing and demonizing ethnicities or religions, variant of the same thing.

What did blacks do to whites to deserve Klan treatment? Nothing. What did Jews do to European nations to deserve thousand of years of anti-Jewish pogroms? Nothing. What did those Chinese families put on trains and driven out of town by people cursing them and threatening death if they did not get on the train, do to deserve that? Nothing. What did Jews do to the Romans anciently to deserve Cicero's condemnation? Refused to knuckle under and be good Roman citizens is what it came down to.

Of course there are always things claimed, traits and essentialisms, that are wrong with the other. There are always anecdotes, anecdotes which collect grievances. Once such beliefs are there about whole classes of others, no logic, no reason, nothing on earth can dislodge it, until it comes from inside, awareness that, speaking metaphorically, we are all God's children, every human being on earth.

There is no general, or even sparse, dislike of Jews or Israelis in Thailand, where I have lived for 14 years. There are Jewish temples in Bangkok entirely unmolested by Thai nationals.

Many Thai nationals work on Israeli farms (sadly, 34 Thai nationals were massacred on Oct. 7) and in general they appreciate the money and results. Some end up marrying Israelis.

Just as sadly, there are Muslim-Buddhist hostilities due to Islamist separatist-terrorists in Thailand's south.

The Government of Canada advises travelers to exercise a high degree of caution in Thailand, and specifically warns against all travel to the southernmost provinces of Narathiwat, Pattani, Yala, and Songkhla due to unpredictable security situations and ongoing separatist insurgent violence. The Canadians are too PC to say "Muslims."

Here is brief description of the situation in Thailand's south:

While earlier attacks were typified by drive-by shootings in which patrolling policemen were shot by gunmen on passing motorcycles, after 2001 they have escalated to well-coordinated attacks on police establishments, with police stations and outposts ambushed by well-armed groups subsequently fleeing with stolen arms and ammunition. Other tactics used to gain publicity from shock and horror are slashing to death Buddhist monks, bombing temples, beheadings, intimidating pork vendors and their customers, as well as arson attacks on schools, killing the teachers —mostly female— and burning their bodies.[63] In rare cases, Pattani guerrilla groups had also threatened Thai Christians.[64] --Wikipedia

Muslim terrorist attacks in Thailand are primarily driven by a localized, ethnonationalist and separatist insurgency in the country's southernmost region. Concentrated in the Deep South provinces of Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, and parts of Songkhla, the conflict has resulted in over 7,000 casualties since it reignited in 2004.---Asia Foundation

---30---

Thailand is a nation of 60 million. The 7,000 casualties would be about equal to 40,000 casualties from terror attacks in the US.  Yes, Thais have bigger things to worry about than a few misbehaving Israeli tourists.

Even so, despite decades of Muslim terror, most Thais seem to regard Muslims evenly anywhere outside of the south, and I have never seen an incident of anti-Muslim behavior.

Israelis are frequent visitors to Thailand, and are regarded little differently from other European or Middle East visitors.

Looks like it's just another brief "extension" made by the company that hosts the Education Forum. Denny Zartman, a moderator at the EF forum, said this on June 24:

"Invision has kindly given us another temporary extension until June 30. Getting in contact with James Gordon is our only option to keep the forum going."

This is quite confusing to me, considering the fact that Andrew Iler of the EF forum said this six days ago (on June 18th):

"I just spoke to James Gordon on the telephone. I will contact John Simkin and let him know. James was responsive and understood the pressing nature of the problem and he is willing to assist us."

I wonder what has happened in these last 6 days that has prohibited Mr. Gordon from being able to "assist us"?

A brief review of the recent Education Forum trials and tribulations.....

On June 10, 2026, the EF forum was taken offline and went totally dark, with all archived links becoming dead and broken. And if those links stay broken, it's going to bother me greatly, because I can't stand broken links on my sites! (And I have tons of EF links archived all over my blog sites.)

I just hope that the Education Forum's vast JFKA archive from the past can somehow be retrieved and made available once again. Because there is, indeed, a lot of good discussion and information to be gleaned from that forum's lengthy tenure on the Internet. And it would be a shame for all of it to be wiped out in a heartbeat.

And it would also be sad to have the owner of this webpage (and many others) commit hari-kari due to the fact he's got all of these dead links on his site: :(

https://jfk-archives.blogspot.com/2022/10/miscellaneous-posts-part-141.html

EDIT/UPDATE #1 (3:57 AM EDT; 6/12/2026) --- The Education Forum has returned! All posts seem to have been restored after a
2-day outage. Now I don't have to commit hari-kari after all. Whew! That's a relief. :)

EDIT/UPDATE #2 (Approx. 7:30 PM EDT; 6/19/2026) --- The Education Forum has been shut off again. Can H-K be avoided once more? Only time will tell.

EDIT/UPDATE #3 (Approx. 3:00 AM EDT; 6/24/2026) --- The Ed. Forum is back online. Hari is sidestepped yet again. ;D

EDIT/UPDATE #4 (7:42 AM EDT; 6/26/2026) --- This word (https://educationforum.ipbhost.com/topic/32133-the-forum-account-is-paid-up-and-active/#findComment-596986) comes from EF Forum member Andrew Iler: "Please be advised that the Forum Account has now been paid and will remain active." .... All is now right with the world once more. The birds still sing. The sun still shines. And the conspiracy theorists at The Education Forum can still fantasize that Lee Harvey Oswald was "just a patsy" for a while longer. (At least until the next monthly payment is due.) 😁

All very mysterious. I am sorry you have so much invested in the EF-JFKA, and that you can find a solution to the situation.

In some ways, the EF-JFKA deserves a shallow grave, and as for my contributions to it...well, water under the bridge now. Life goes on.
