I wish I could remember the name of the man on the right in the first photo, but he had an interesting history. He was a ranger with the National Park Service in working at the Pearl Harbor Memorial in Hawaii when the History Channel did a story on the attack. He was used extensively during that program to tell the story. Apparently, the History Channel was impressed enough by him that they hired him for a number of other programs including Death in Dealey Plaza. I don't know if he retired from his job to do that or just took some time off. He was an excellent storyteller.

ROBIN - Thanks for posting these "Death In Dealey Plaza" images. Gary Mack did a very good job with this presentation. I would be interested in the "cutting room floor" film footage from this presentation. Gary Mack did a Knoll "walk through" with Wiegman during this presentation. That "walk through" segment did jump around a little bit as they walked across the Knoll. I would have liked to have seen the entire step-by-step route that Wiegman took as he went up-and-down the knoll.
In Trask's "Pictures Of The Pain", Wiegman claims to have seen SA Lem Johns up on the knoll. SA Johns claims to have jumped out of the LBJ SS Car. (No images of SA Johns on Elm St exist). Johns is supposed to have Never left Elm St once he was outside of the LBJ SS Car. It would have been interesting to see Wiegman designate where on the knoll he saw SA Johns. And possibly, if Wiegman filmed SA Johns on his jiggly footage at any point.

The name Daniel Rodriguez popped into my head as a possible ID for the man in question but a google search only showed Daniel Rodriguez as a UFC fighter. I might not have the first name right or I might not have either name right.
Do you have the entire Death in Dealey Plaza program available. If so, it should identify this man. It always bugs me when I can't remember a name.

Thank you for posting what you did about Daniel Martinez. It turns out I remembered his first name correctly but not his surname.
A google search turned up the following story about him. It turns out he was working for the National Park Service until 2023 which means he was moonlighting when he appeared on "Death in Dealey Plaza". I've always enjoyed listening to him no matter what subject he was talking about.

I broke down what can be seen in this documentary and many others.

Thanks Denis.
That's a very extensive breakdown of the film scenes.

ROBIN - Thanks for posting the above Martin Film Gif. I was looking at the White Helmet of the motorcycle cop closest to the pool. What do you think might have made him suddenly "jump upward"? This "jumpy" motorcycle cop is happening at roughly the same of a claimed "early" 1st shot. I've looked at another Martin film copy and this "jumpy" cop is not nearly as pronounced as this Gif shows.

This reminds me one of the arguments I had with Michael Griffith who claimed that the Zapruder film was fake because the crowd on this side of the street were "cardboard cut-outs".
The crowd here can be seen moving all about and straining to get a better look.

And here are the three ladies, with the middle lady clearly clapping and the last lady with the blue head scarf billowing in the wind!

JOHN - Thanks for posting that Z Clip. What I take from it is that The woman turning her head toward the Triple Underpass and everyone else on that (N) side of Elm St, KNOWS the JFK Limo is NOT coming toward/turning onto Elm St. Zapruder from his elevated viewing position must have been the Only person on that (N) side of the street to believe that the JFK Limo was looming right around the corner. Sitzman said they could see the JFK Limo turning onto Houston, and coming down Houston St. Dan Rather reported that the Zapruder Film Copy that he watched the weekend of the assassination showed the JFK Limo turning onto Elm St. Yet, we are told to believe that somehow Abraham "Mr Magoo" Zapruder thought the JFK Limo was right behind those 3 DPD Motorcycles?

There's two reason we know Zapruder restarted his 8mm camera @Z133 and therefore the entire sequence was not filmed continuously!
1. The first frame when an 8mm camera is started allows more light to leak into the camera and as can be seen, Z133 is brighter than Z134. Also note that Z001 is even brighter but this effect varies iirc due to mechanical interactions of the camera and the amount of film left.
Look at the light blue car at the top of the frame, the lighter clothing and the lighter shade of the road.

2. When Zapruder restarted his camera and pushed the physical button, this made the next frame much blurrier and the frame after that shows a distinctive horizontal jiggle.
After Zapruder restarted his camera and the initial excitement, his panning becomes relatively smooth, well, up until his startled vertical jiggles after he heard shots.

ROBIN - Thanks for posting this photo. It shows how narrow that landing was in front of the TSBD front door. And it displays the edge of the Island that Officer Baker ran across as he headed toward the TSBD front door. I also would be interested in how high above ground level the Zapruder Perch is vs this Top of the TSBD front steps. As anyone can see, from the Top of the TSBD front steps, you can see all the way down Houston St. That height is even well above the water pool. This is a very educational photo on many levels.
