Title: Really good introduction to the TSBD
Post by: Lance Payette on September 28, 2025, 05:31:47 PM
I don't know who "Lemmino" is (not an American, judging by the accent), but this is a really excellent (IMO) 1 hour 38 minute piece called "Inside the Book Depository."

I meant to mention it previously but this morning watched the part beginning at the 46 minute mark about the Shelley-Lovelady-Adams-Skyles-Garner mystery (Chapter IX, "The Stairway").

It is LN oriented, as I recall, but I found it excellent for the same reason I found Horne's CT oriented piece worthwhile. Horne's work helped me picture Bethesda in a way that had previously been difficult to do, and this one does the same for the TSBD.

Yeah, I have watched this previously several times. It walks you through the path that Oswald/Frazier took to enter the TSBD that morning. Gives you a good idea as to the Line Of Sight (LOS) that anyone entering the building would have or would be possibly seen when entering. This presentation also has good photos of that Houston St Dock on the backside of the TSBD.  It also includes photos of that cracker box size "Domino Room/Lunch Room" on the 1st floor. This is an excellent primer on the JFK Assassination including detailed images of the TSBD freight elevator too. Highly recommend.

And I urge everyone on this forum to go to YOU TUBE and take a look at all "David Von Pein" presentations. I habitually view your YOU TUBE presentation: "1963 Secret Service Film (JFK Assassination Reconstruction) (silent)".  All of the SS Film Footage inside that presentation is exceptionally valuable as it shows the viewer how Dealey Plaza looked only days after the assassination. There are many, many, landmarks inside Dealey Plaza that have been removed and moved over the last 61+ yrs. This SS Film Footage reminds the viewer of exactly what was where on 11/22/63. This YOU TUBE presentation of yours is invaluable.

FYI, Royell....

Don't forget about the 1964 Secret Service film as well. The '64 SS reconstruction film includes narration (by KRLD's Jim Underwood). I don't currently have the '64 film on my YouTube channel, because YouTube has been cracking down on "sensitive" and "disturbing" type of content, and since the '64 film contains a black-and-white copy of the Zapruder film, I removed it from my channel a couple of years ago (in order to avoid getting a "strike" attached to my channel from the Copyright Police and/or the Community Guidelines Strike Force).

But that 1964 SS film can be seen at some of my websites, such as....
