Why are so many CIA-hating nuttycakes drawn to the JFKA?
-
You may find this surprising but folks who are a few fries short of a happy meal often blame entities like the CIA or - wait for it - Russia for any nefarious event. They are paranoid types. Know anyone like that?

You hated the pre-John Ratcliffe and pre-Michael Ellis CIA, didn't you, Smith?
Do you think Tulsi "Mahalo" Gabbard was a good choice as Director of National Intelligence?

I'm glad to know that you characterize "former" KGB* officer Vladimir Putin's installing, with the help of sixty-six years of nation-rending KGB* "active measures" waged against us, The Traitorous Orange Bird (rhymes with Xxxx) as our "president" in 2017 and 2025 as nefarious events.
There's hope for you yet, Smith.

It is all the more humorous that you are calling out the paranoid CIA "nuttycakes" without seeing the irony.

Smith,
Not CIA nuttycakes, but Far-Left and Far-Right nuttycakes who blame the JFKA on the CIA.
Get it?
Regardless, you and I seem to agree that Lee Harvey Oswald killed JFK.
I say he did it with-or-without the help of the KGB.
Do you say he did it with the help of the CIA, or all by him widdle Marxist self?
Whichever is the case for you, how do you explain the fact that so many JFKA conspiracy theorists (e.g., Mark Lane, Jim Garrison, Jim DiEugenio, Jefferson Morley, Oliver Stone, et al. ad nauseam) fervently believe the Agency was behind the assassination?

My position is clear. Oswald did it all by his lonesome. Only paranoid types like yourself believe that no important event can occur without the guiding hand of the CIA or KGB.

Smith,
In case you missed it, I said, "I think Oswald killed JFK with-or-without the help of the KGB."
If the KGB did help him, it was probably only in the form of encouragement / Marxist-Leninist Indoctrination and/or "programming."
The fact that so many more JFKA conspiracy theorists believe "the CIA did it" than "the KGB did it" is itself circumstantial evidence that the KGB did it I mean encouraged Oswald to do it.
It is interesting, though, that a KGB mole in the "evil, evil, evil" CIA sent (or duped Angleton into sending) former sharpshooting Marine radar operator Oswald to Moscow in 1959, and that a Kremlin-loyal triple agent (i.e., someone the CIA mistakenly believed it had successfully recruited) "volunteered" the Department-13-radioactive name "Kostikov" to Oswald or an Oswald impersonator over a sure-to-be-tapped-by-KGB phone line on 10/1/63, especially given the fact that the only reason the CIA and the FBI believed Kostikov was Department-13 was because a Kremlin-loyal triple agent at the FBI's NYC field office, J. Edgar Hoover's shielded-from-CIA FEDORA, had told the Bureau a year earlier that Kostikov's charge at the U.N., Igor Brykin, was a Department-13 agent.

There are literally hundreds of examples on this forum where you claim that the Russians/KGB are behind nearly every event in human history. You invoke Russia, the KGB, and Putin in almost every post. There is no better example and answer to your question about why some blame the CIA for the JFK assassination than your own paranoid obsession with the KGB. It's ironic that you can't see the similarities.

Do SANE people REALLY NEED a CIA?

Smith,
How do you think our body politic became so cynical, paranoic and apathetic as to "elect" The Traitorous Orange Bird as our "president"?
(Rhymes with Xxxx)
Do you remember Anna Chapman and the Twelve Dwarfs, whom the KGB sent here in 2000 and weren't rolled up by the FBI until 2010? Why did your favorite world-class humanitarian organization, the KGB, do that? So they could absorb American and Canadian culture and take it back to Great Mother Russia? And what about Igor Danchenko, the so-called Brookings Institution scholar who fed Christopher Steele a bunch of disinformation to put in his dossier on Donald Trump so the dossier could be discredited? Any idea why the FBI was investigating him as a possible KGB agent until he up and disappeared in 2010 or so? You know that Paul Manafort's right-hand-man, Konstantin Kilimnik, is a GRU officer, don't you?
Questions:
What do you know about Department D in the First Chief Directorate (today's SVR) and Department 14 in the Second Chief Directorate (today's FSB)?
Do you know why they were formed in 1959?
Answers:
Absolutely Nothing and Nope

I'll ignore your usual psycho babble and answer the first question. Why was Trump elected? That's an easy one. Americans have grown disgusted with establishment politicians who lied to them year after year for the last several decades until they brought the country to ruin. Financially and culturally. They spent trillions in waste, fraud, and lunacy. Engaged in endless foreign wars. Opened the borders to tens of millions of unknown people. Some of whom are murderers, rapists, and terrorists. The rest of whom we have to pay for their health care, education and housing. Told us that men should compete with women in sports. Trump is a creation of these failures, lies, and lunacy. Enough was finally enough to overcome all the inherent advantages of the establishment. Money, process, media, and misuse of the justice system rendered it almost impossible for anyone outside the establishment cadre to become president. Trump was able to overcome all those advantages due to the corruption and incompetence of the establishment. Guess who had absolutely nothing to do with it? Russia.

Smith,
It's ironic that you think Oswald killed JFK all by him widdle Marxist self but don't realize that the disinformation the KGB spread about the anomaly replete assassination (can you say, for example, Joachim Joesten, Mark Lane, and Comrade Oliver Stone?) helped to make our body politic so cynical, paranoiac and apathetic that "former" KGB officer Putin's professional St. Petersburg trolls and his FSB and GRU hackers, et al., with help from oodles and gobs of "useful idiots in this country, were able to install The Traitorous Orange Bird (rhymes with Xxxx) as our "president" in 2017 and 2025.
Corruption?
LOL!
The Traitorous Orange Bird (rhymes with Xxxx) and his family make Joe Biden, James Biden and Hunter Biden look like veritable Eagle Scouts.
PS Just admit it, Smith -- you know absolutely nothing about the KGB (today's SVR and FSB).

Who are these "CIA-hating nuttycakes"? Would you care to name some of them?
I trust you know from my website that no one in their right mind would put me in that category.
But, just out of curiosity, who in this forum would you ID as a "CIA-hating nuttycake"?

Oliver Stone and Mark Lane worked for the KGB? And you are calling JFK CTers "nuttycakes." Good luck with that. Even if there was any validity to theory that the KGB worked to disseminate distrust in the US government who cares? The US government does a good enough job at that with endless wars and corruption. They don't need any help from Russia.
-
I'll ignore your usual psycho babble [about how the KGB* has very successfully waged disinformation, "active measures," and mole-based strategic deception counterintelligence operations against us and our NATO allies for sixty-six years].
You do so at your own, and our country's, peril, Smith.

Do SANE people REALLY NEED a CIA?
Every developed nation in the world has its own version of the CIA, including Canada, France, and Switzerland. Russia has the FSB, which is just as deadly and active as its predecessor, the KGB. Red China has the MSS. It would be dangerous folly to abolish the CIA or to severely restrict its covert operations. The CIA has saved untold numbers of American lives and has done much to defend freedom and democracy.

Dear Mike,
It's wonderful if you truly feel that way, but the fact is that your spreading KGB-encouraged tinfoil-hat JFKA conspiracies is contributing to the KGB's 1959-on goal of getting us to tear ourselves apart in a Sun Tzu kinda way.
