In the top clip (the one nearest the end of Tina Towner’s segment showing the limo in front of the TSBD) we can see Jackie’s left hand suddenly jerk up and quickly and immediately back down. That seems very unusual. At about the same time, JFK suddenly jerks his head to his right. These two reactions appear to me to be evidence of an early missed first shot. Combine this evidence with the reactions in the crowd of spectators (shown in the Zapruder film) that was documented in another thread and it becomes stronger evidence. I think that we should try to compare the timing of these reactions to the ones in the Zapruder film. First guess is that these reactions by Jackie and JFK came first.

It's difficult to see without blowing up that "hand?" movement segment, but that movement could be Mrs Connally making a quick wave to her (R) across the JFK Limo. Jackie's lack of any movement what-so-ever, would not match being startled by either a possible gunshot, backfire, or fire cracker sound.

It is the back of Jackie's left hand. The fingers are not visible, so it appears to me to be a fist. The shape of it indicates the thumb closest to Jackie. The size of it indicates it is close to the left side of the limo. If it was further away, it would appear smaller. Again, this is most unusual (the fist, the quickness, and the timing).

I sheepishly have to retract the above analysis. After further study, I now believe that to be JBC's left hand. Earlier in the clip we can see him apparently touching his hair with his left hand. And it now appears to me that his hand temporarily "disappears," due to the shadows, as he lowers his hand. What I was mistaking for Jackie"s hand appears to be JBC's hand after it "reappears" as it is coming out of a shadow.

The hand appears a couple of seconds before Oswald's first shot (he fired one more shot about 6 seconds after the first).
The first shot was 5 Towner frames before the end of Towner's footage.
The first shot ricocheted offa the overhead signal arm, some lead splatter hitting jfk in the back of the head.

There's a major problem with the theory that a shot from the TSBD sniper's nest hit the signal arm. That problem is that the shooter would have to be Standing Up and fire a shot Downward through the half open 6th floor window in order to strike the signal arm. The sniper would then need to sit down, reacquire the target/JFK, and work his Bolt Action rifle for 2 more shots. All of this being executed over the course of mere seconds. When you consider that the sniper is alleged to have planned ahead and clandestinely built himself a sniper's nest, his mandatory up-n-down shooting posture while working a WW II bolt action rifle is totally inconsistent.

The downward angle for Oswald's first shot (the ricochet) at pseudo-Z105 to pseudo-Z113 was not drastic.
Then his second shot (the magic bullet) was say 6 seconds later.
And Oswald did not fire his third bullet, ie his last bullet (but he did see Hickey shoot jfk in the head).

From that 6th Floor sniper's nest, it would take a "Drastic" angled shot Downward through the Half Open window to strike the signal arm. This was displayed in "The Lost Bullet" DVD. No question.

My calculation of Oswald's angles based on below is .....
shot-1 at Z113 is -34.8 deg. If at Holland's Z106 it is still -34.6 deg koz either way it is at the signals.
shot-2 at Z218 is -21.0 deg.
shot-3 at Z312 is -16.6 deg.
Here are the timings for Oswald's shot-1 & shot-2 & for a faux shot-3.
87 ft is the horizontal dist scaled by me, 106 ft is the hypotenuse dist allowing for vertical dist estimated by me.
Oswald Shot ----------- hit at ------ fired at ------ sound hit JFK at – Carcano = 2170 ft per sec.
1 --- 87 ft = 106 ft ----- Z113 ------ Z112.1 ---------- Z113.9 ----- camera runs at 18.3 frames per sec.
2 --- 184 ft = 197 ft---- Z218 ------- Z216.3 --------- Z219.6
3 --- 255 ft = 266 ft ---- Z313 -------- Z310.8 --------- Z315.2 -------- Oswald did not have a shot-3.
The time tween shot-1 & shot-2 is 104.2 frames, which is 5.7 sec. Holland reckoned that shot-1 was at Z106, which is an extra 7 frames, or 0.4 sec, which makes it 6.1 sec.
The time tween shot-2 & faux shot-3 is 94.5 frames, which is 5.2 sec.
Adding to 10.9 sec.
Here are the timings for Hickey's auto burst, based on there being 6 shots.
Hickey Shot ------------- hit at ------ fired at ------ sound hit JFK at -------
6 ---- 26 ft---------------- Z313 -------- Z312.8 ---------- Z313.2 --- hit JFK in head & cracked windshield.
5 ---- AR15 = 3250 ft per sec------------ Z310.0 ---------- hit chrome trim on windshield.
4 ---- sound = 1100 ft per sec ----------- Z307.25 -------- went over the windshield, hit Elm St.
3 ---- probly 400 rpm= 6.67 rps --------- Z304.5 ---------- went over the windshield, hit Elm St.
2 ------------------------------------------- Z301.8 ----------- went over the windshield, hit Elm St.
1 ------------------------------------------- Z299.0 ---- probly hit Main St pavement & then kerb near Tague.

I understand that this thread is providing "enhanced" Towner Films. Still, I have to ask if these films are truly showing us the correct position of the R.L.Thornton Sign. (0:47, 1:38, 8:15). These "enhanced" films show the R.L Thornton sign to be Facing Elm St. These "enhanced" Towner Films also show the Legs of that sign to be E/W relative to each other. In contrast, photos of the R.L. Thornton Sign with bereavement flowers on the ground near it, (time stamp), do Not show this same sign to be Facing Elm St. The photos also show the legs of the sign being N/S with respect to each other. I don't know if that sign was moved or replaced, but short of that, the position of the "enhanced" Thornton Sign is in direct contrast with the photo images of that same sign. New generations that are now seriously researching the JFK Assassination do Not need to be exposed to incorrect images.

If you don't want to look at photos of the Thornton Sign shot straight down Elm St toward the Triple Underpass, take a look at the SS Re-Creation film footage as the SS Car makes its' turn from Houston St. onto Elm St. (You Tube). What we see with respect to the Thornton Sign on these "Enhanced" Towner Films is way off. With both signs having been removed from The Knoll, and Dealey Plaza consistently being face lifted on the whole, it is important to remind JFK Assassination researchers as to what went where inside Dealey Plaza on 11/22/63. With the anniversary date of the JFK assassination almost being here, newcomers will be looking in. They warrant a true understanding of this crime scene.
