Hi folks, I put this up last week but it has dissapered, not sure why. I am looking for information on who this little child is and any idea on what he could be carrying. To me he is holding onto it as it seems either heavy or expensive and doesn't want to loose it. It is evident that there is a strap on his left arm so the bag or device is connected to the strap. There are a few things that come to mind that this could be but looking for clarification and or a name.

A similar post was made on Facebook by Denis Morissette.
He was the one who posted that video to Youtube.
I said to Denis on Facebook, that i thought this boy standing next to the woman seen in the video may be the same boy seen in this Dillard crop.

Not 100% sure, but it's possible the boy is carrying a camera ?

Hi Robin, thanks for that, yeah had a look and the boy in the picture, to me, looks Mexican and bubbly cheeks, the boy in the video is American and less bubbly. Thank you for your reply though, I do appreciate it. I am actually helping Denis with the research to find out who the boy is and have posted on a few of the JFK related sites to try to track down information.

Here is a short stabilized GIF that helped me a lot with viewing the item he's holding. My vote is for a purse. I don't have any knowledge who he is though.

The woman seen at the start of the video is seen in the two Dillard photo's.
In one she is seen standing next to a boy, and in both photo's she is holding a large black bag.
I can't tell by watching the video if she still has the black bag in her hand.

Hi Robin, I tell you what, I think I am now a believer of your thoughts. With the slowed down video of James's it does look VERY much like that boy hey. Love it, thank you very much. Now we can try to work out who his mother was.

Hi Mac, that little boy the next day at Dealey Plaza looking at the building is Mack White, the photo was taken by his dad who was a small newspaper editor in Texas. nice bloke Mack I have spoken to him a bit. He is American.

Hi Mac, yes his dad was a small town editor and took the picture the next day. He was in school at the time of the shooting so his dad thought they would go down on the Saturday to get a feel for the area. mack said he was looking around and his dad took the shot and another one but the second one has gone missing. That photo made the front paper of his local area I think on the Sunday or Monday.

No, but here is what he said to me
"I was one month away from my 11th birthday when Kennedy was killed. My father, a weekly newspaper editor in the nearby small town of Mansfield, took the photos the day after the assassination. He took this photo and another one in the same position with my back to the camera looking at the TSBD. The latter photo was published on the front page of his paper"

The hypocrisy to the whole thing is almost a bad movie script. I just wish one day the truth is known and the finger of blame can be placed on the real culprits for all time to know.
