What would be even worse is if he was manipulated by a CT ambulance chaser who took advantage of his enfeebled state of mind.

There's probably a good deal of truth to that statement.

CTs have searched for almost 63 years to find credible evidence that someone other than Oswald was responsible for the JFKA and have come up empty. It's not surprising they have to resort to manufactured evidence to make their case.

But this is what the Trine Day and Skyhorse publishing houses do.  And use each others’ books as sources.  Illegal !

“False in part, false in whole”
Conspiracy author "A" cites conspiracy author "B" for a claim. "B" cites conspiracy author "C" for his, i.e., "B's", claim.

When challenged, conspiracy author "A" says he has two sources for his claim: source "B" and source "C". But he only has one, "C", and not two. And neither "A" or "B" check if the claim by "C" is accurate.

Multiply this by 60+ years and hundreds of conspiracy books and it's no wonder that people believe conspiracy nonsense.

Meanwhile, Fred Litwin repeatedly cites primary sources. He goes around the world finding them. He doesn't cite lone assassin books. He has the original documents. And the conspiracy crowd (not all but the most vocal) responds with temper tantrums and calls him names and wants him banned.

I think it would be accurate to say the hardcore JFK conspiracy crowd constitutes a cult. They cling to their beliefs with a religious fervor and demonize those who disagree with them. I'm not referring to the majority of people who believe in conspiracy because most of them are simply uninformed about the facts in the case and have had mostly the myths spewed at them for 6 decades. The ones who have studied the case in great detail and still maintain Oswald was innocent are the ones who comprise a cult. Even some of those who think Oswald was a participant in a grand conspiracy fall into that category.

A solid guy would not have kept a secret like that for over 60 years. How the hell would a bullet end up in the backseat. It makes no sense.

ex-Secret Service agents are not immune from cognitive decline. False memories happen to lots of people and Secret Service agents are people. No way I believe this cockamamie story.

"A SOLID guy would not have kept a secret like that for over 60 years"

Exactly what is your definition of a "SOLID Guy"?
Have you ever read the "Original Report" filed by Landis on 11/22/63? He describes seeing a "Negro male... running up the slope, across a grassy section, along a sidewalk, towards some steps and what appeared to be a low stone wall". This Landis sighting was as the Queen Mary was about to go under the Triple Underpass. SA Landis never did sing along with that SS Choir dating all the way back to 11/22/63.
And SAIC Kellerman sang along until he was put under Oath by the WC. Kellerman under oath revealed that a "flurry" of shells came into the JFK Limo. And that the JFK Limo, "jumped out of the G.D. street..." when SA Greer floored the JFK Limo accelerator. Of course, this rapid acceleration of the JFK Limo as described by Kellerman is Nowhere to be seen on the Current Zapruder Film.

Explain "grand conspiracy". How many people are we talking here?

You should ask the guy who introduced the term into this thread.

To engineer all the corruption of evidence the CT cult allege, we are talking at a minimum dozens, but more likely hundreds.
