It took 30 years to go from the crime to her attempted execution (which they botched by allowing a woke request to have an all female team).  What do you think the holdup was?  Do you think conservative republicans were advocating for delay?  You don't think that left wingers are the ones who oppose the death penalty?

"The divide between supporters of the two major political parties shows an erosion of support for the death penalty among Independents and Democrats, but support remains constant among Republicans. According to Gallup’s October 2025 polling, 82% of Republicans favor the death penalty, compared to 47% of Independents, and just 32% of Democrats. These numbers show a 50-point difference in support between the two major political parties."

good for you - and what happened in TN in recent weeks has nothing to do with DEMS or leftists
that's your own ignorant prejudice

Nothing?  Maybe Google I'Ashea Myles who is the leftist TN judge overseeing the matter.  It is the height of stupidity to claim that because a state is "red" that it does not have leftist judges.  Many of these folks come from the urban areas such as Nashville and Memphis that are overwhelmingly represented by democrats.

She ordered the preservation of evidence for the investigation
so what? - she has done nothing wrong

Ask for evidence that liberals are in involved in the process in a red state, be given evidence that a young, black female democrat is overseeing the process, deflect to something else.

Nothing?  You argued that because TN is a "red state" that the process is entirely controlled by republicans.  A false claim.  The point is that it took 30 years to carry out the sentence. That is largely because of the involvement of leftist organizations and judges such as I'Ashea Myles that create endless delays.  When they attempted to execute her, they allowed an all female team at her request because some woke person concluded that it would be traumatic if men were involved.  And the results speak for themselves.

I'Ashea Myles did nothing wrong in the botched execution of Christa Gail Pike
I got the name wrong in my previous post
