Am I the only one...

...who doesn't give a xxxx how much Christa Pike has suffered due to her botched lethal injection execution?

Why did we ever get rid of the electric chair. I don't recall problems like this coming up with Old Sparky.

HAHAHA No John, you're not the Lone Ranger! Pike herself requested hanging if Lethal Injection didn't work. I prefer nationally televised Woodchipper Integration!

I don't know why they called 911. Were they afraid she was going to die. I thought that was the whole idea. It seems to me they could have just waited it out. Hanging. Electric chair. Gas chamber. All of these seem to be much more efficient than lethal injections. Even a bullet to the back of the head would be a better option than what we are doing now. It now takes 25-30 years of appeals before executions get carried out. Why do we have to concern ourselves with killing these scum humanely.

I just read this from a story about Pike:

"Hospital staff were working to save Pike's life and clear the drug pentobarbital from her system, her attorneys said in an emergency motion, which seeks a court order for Tennessee's Department of Correction to preserve evidence from Wednesday night's botched execution."

Did they really need to work to save her life. Seems to me they could have phoned it in for this case. Maybe when they got the Code Blue, they could have taken a coffee break first. Maybe one of them could have "accidentally" stepped on her breathing tube and saved the taxpayers a big medical bill.

Whether she lives or dies, you can bet her lawyers are already doing the paperwork for an 8 figure lawsuit.

The whole thing is completely insane.  She was allowed to request an all female execution team because it was deemed too traumatic to put to death by a man.  Too traumatic!  You can't make that up.  Her family will now probably sue and get millions.  The leftists spend more time and energy attempting to thwart capital punishment than caring about American citizens who are assaulted and murdered by illegal aliens.  They will spend years citing this as yet another reason not to allow capital punishment.  It is an upside down world.  Hopefully there is a full investigation and someone is held accountable.  I find it very difficult to believe there was not some intent to undermine her execution.

:D How do you blame the left?

TN is a Republican supermajority deeply RED state that has a recent track record of botching executions .
If you are going to execute - do it right.

Botched Executions in Tennessee

• October 2026 (Christa Pike): Prison officials halted the execution process after administering the lethal drug pentobarbital, and the inmate was subsequently transferred to a medical facility for care. Following the incident, Governor Bill Lee suspended all scheduled executions to allow for an independent review.

• May 2026 (Tony Carruthers): The execution attempt was halted when personnel were unable to successfully establish the required intravenous lines. The state subsequently granted the inmate a one-year reprieve.

• April 2022 (Oscar Smith): Governor Lee called off the execution shortly before it was scheduled to begin due to a technical oversight. An internal review later revealed that the execution drugs had not undergone testing according to the required state protocols
