Did Congress declare war?  I must have missed that.  What fighting is going on?  I must be missing something.  This is yet another leftist effort to put their own political interest over those of the country.  Iran cannot be allowed to get a nuclear weapon that they have already indicated that they will use against the US or Israel.  The consequences of that outweigh short term gas prices.  To advocate against that outcome is another example why our political process is broken.

Iran is sure going to want one now - it could be 5-10 years. You cannot kill ambition.
Trump has taught them the strait has very powerful leverage.

There was no 2 week threat of a nuclear weapon.
Even if they had one, they wouldn't preempt use in their own backyard. That's just stupid.
There is plenty of chemical and bio warfare they could/would use first. They don't.
