Yes, Gov JBC and his surgeon, Dr. Shaw, both said they believed JBC had been hit by a separate shot from the one that struck JFK.

How on earth JBC received an entry wound on the dorsal side on his wrist, after the slug had first traveled through JBC's chest, is another inexplicable mystery of the JFKA. And the slug then made a neat small round hole in JBC's left pant leg and burrowed into his thigh. But the bullet is found later outside the trauma surgery room. Maybe.

The JFKA LNT remains implausible, which is why the second official investigation, HSCA-1979, concluded there likely had been a shot at the GK and a JFKAC.

Caveat emptor, and draw your own conclusions.

Lee Bowers has been mentioned herein, so worth noting----

Lee Bowers herein tells Mark Lane that the latter two shots were very closely spaced, as in "knock-knock" on his table top.

Bowers demonstrates on his table the cadence, with two rapid knocks for the final two shots. This is indisputably Bowers' testimony.

AI: The typical time between two distinct knocks in a standard double knock is about 0.2 to 0.4 seconds (a quick, rhythmic beat).

Bowers' testimony is nearly identical to that Dallas Sheriff Seymour Weitzman, who also remembered the second two shots as nearly simultaneous. As did many other ear-witnesses.

This "bang.....bang-bang" cadence lines with Gov. JBC being shot ~Z295 and JFK at Z-312.

Connally: I was knocked over, just doubled over by the force of the bullet. It went in my back and came out my chest about 2 inches below and the left of my right nipple. The force of the bullet drove my body over almost double and when I looked, immediately I could see I was just drenched with blood. (1 HSCA 42)

That happens ~Z-295 or even a few frames later. Hard to tell---but certainly not near near Z-220 or so.

Very hard to square the reports of Bowers, Weitzman and JBC, none of whom seemed to have any axes to grind, all of whom seemed credible, with a lone gunsel armed with a single-shot-per-bolt-action on 11.22. 

IMHO, LHO was involved in the JFKA, and is the best suspect as the TSBD6 sniper.

But no way LHO fired two shots in less than one second, armed with the M-C short rifle. 

I have reasonable doubts, even compelling reservations, about the LNT.

Also, it is important to keep in mind that Bowers was one of a number of witnesses who said two of the shots came in very rapid succession, with virtually no interval between them, and, crucially, these witnesses were located all over the plaza, so the argument that they were all merely hearing the echo of a shot will not work.

It is quite possible that the bang-bang witnesses heard two different sets of two bang-bang shots, given their descriptions of when they heard the shots. 

The HSCA's acoustical evidence confirms the accounts of two shots fired in rapid succession. Two of the shots on the DPD dictabelt come only 0.71 seconds apart (impulse patterns 144.9 and 145.61), and two others come only 1.05 seconds apart (impulse patterns 139.27 and 140.32).

Yes, the consensus, as seen in a credible recorded witness such as Bowers, is that the last two shots were in rapid succession.

As the TSBD sniper (I suspect it was LHO) was armed with a single-shot-per-bolt-action rifle, that is one reason that the LNT is implausible.

There are other reasons, such the scent of gunsmoke in GK area in the immediate aftermath of the JFKA, Sam Holland's account with visible gunsmoke in the GK, and Gov. JBC's testimony that he was struck by a separate shot from the one that struck JFK, testimony with which his wife concurred.

I have never been able to make head-nor-tails out of the acoustic evidence.

However, Blakey of the HSCA said the acoustics evidence was only one factor in their estimation that there was a probability of a JFKAC, and of a gunshot from the GK.

We disagree on the extent of the JFKAC, and that is fine. I suspect small conspiracy of anti- or pro-Castro Cubans who worked with or manipulated LHO. Maybe just two other people.

But that's just my IMHO. Caveat emptor, and draw your own conclusions.
