Ben is suggesting that Iler will clean up The Education Forum when he sorts out the anti-semites...Ben doesn't seem to understand that the re-organizing of the forum was no kind of reform movement...That it was Iler lending himself to the DiEugenio clique and firming its control...A leveraging of power off of the structural peculiarity of Invision giving total power to 'Kennedy and Kings' writer Andrew Iler as site owner so he could secure the clique as having total domination...

Stepping away from Brian Doyle's usual installment of nonsense, there is a really interesting thread going on at the Education Forum for a change involving Craig Bouzarth's work on Zapruder film authenticity. He is battling it out with another guy who is posting giant AI essays arguing for a fake headsnap and other things that seem impossible.

Stepping away from Brian Doyle's usual installment of nonsense, there is a really interesting thread going on at the Education Forum for a change involving Craig Bouzarth's work on Zapruder film authenticity. He is battling it out with another guy who is posting giant AI essays arguing for a fake headsnap and other things that seem impossible.

The "Just because the film wasn't altered doesn't mean there wasn't a conspiracy" responses will now ensue. Either that or charges that Mr. Bouzarth is a CIA agent.

If the film is authentic then a whole series of claims over the years fall apart. About the head wound location, about JFK and JC responding simultaneously to a shot, et cetera.

The interesting (grading on a scale here) debate for me over there is the claim that JFK was going to unconditionally leave Vietnam after re-election. For the Garrisonites - the Oliver Stone and DiEugenio types - this is critical to their conspiracy belief. It's the Rosetta Stone, the key act, to their explanation as to what happened and why. If JFK wasn't going to simply leave then the idea that the national security state, the military industrial complex, killed him because he was leaving completely falls apart. JFK *had* to be leaving; otherwise why would these powerful forces take him down?

Indeed.. it seems like those "disinformation agent" charges will be next up against Bouzarth. Lame.

Verily, JFK was an ardent and active global anti-communist. That JFK might make adjustments in his Vietnam anti-communist policies and strategies is hardly a reason for anyone to assassinate JFK.

JFK's acceding to a plot to stage a US-financed coup against the Diems remains a blot on his record, especially as he was warned the coup would likely be lethal, and could destabilize SV, which it did.

Nevertheless, read JFK statements why he created (or revivified) the Green Beret and USAID. All about fighting global communism. Why did JFK risk a nuke war over Cuba? To keep communism out of the New World.

The leftists have tried to re-frame JFK as singing kumbaya with Castro and Khrushchev, and holding hands with Muslim dictatorships and despots, but it is all demented hagiography.
