ZM-

There are enigmas a-plenty in the JFKA.

I suspect a shot passed through JFK's throat from the rear.

Another, separate shot passed through Gov. JBC.

A third shot struck JFK in the head.

The Tague shot does not seem to have its origin in any of the three aforementioned shots.

Bullets do not always follow a straight line through bodies. It may be the first shot, that struck JFK in the upper back, then turned upwards slightly inside JFK's body and exited through his throat-Adam's apple area, and then left the cab. It was never recovered.

The first shot is not likely the Tague shot, as only lead was found on the curb-strike by the FBI. If a FMJ had passed only through JFK's neck, it would retain its copper (technically bronze) FMJ.

The second shot, passing through JBC, stayed in the cab. There is clean and small round hole in JBC's pant eg, when the bullet passed into his thigh. That is that.

The third shot hit JFK in the lower right-rear section of his skull. Evidently, it entered his skull, and blew out the right temple area.

Seems like a long shot that some lead squirted out of the FMJ hitting JFK's head, went 270-290 feet to the left, and then struck the curb with enough force to cause concrete or matter to spray upwards and cut Tague's face.

My best guess is the Tague shot did not come from the TSBD-6 sniper's nest.

Most witnesses heard three shots, although some did hear four. Inside the TSBD, three shots were heard, loud as a  "cannon."

This does not rule out the use of weapons with silencers, or simultaneous shots heard as one shot.

In fact, the Tague shot seems to have flummoxed two official investigations.

The HSCA concluded the Tague shot was a missed shot from LHO---but that does not explain the lead-only deposit on the curb near Tague. The distance from Tague to the limo--270-290 feet or so---makes one wonder where the missed shot struck, so that it could subsequently squirt its lead core at Tague.

For reference that is nearly the length of a football field, goal-line to goal-line.

The HSCA did conclude there had been a second gunsel in the DP that day, and that he fired. They did not link the Tague to the second gunsel. I don't know why.

It is worth noting that in their various and conflicting SBT trajectory illustrations, lone-gunman theorists have failed to include one or more of these three key facts: (1) the HSCA FPP's placement of the back wound at T1, i.e., below the throat wound, (2) the HSCA FPP's acknowledgment that the autopsy photo of the back wound shows the bullet hit at an upward angle and then tunneled at an upward angle (a fact that Dr. Werner Spitz had already confirmed for the Rockefeller Commission in 1975), and (3) Dr. Baden's demonstration of how far forward JFK would have had to be leaning to make the T1 entry wound and the upward trajectory through the neck line up with a shot from the sixth-floor window.

One myth that is common in pro-SBT trajectory presentations is the WC's fiction that the back wound was above the throat wound and that the bullet traveled downward through JFK's neck. This is the case even in pro-SBT presentations that show JFK sitting upright with his head leaning only slightly forward.

Some examples:

The Single Bullet Theory

While showing JFK sitting straight up with his head held upright, this video shows the bullet hitting above the throat wound and then traveling downward through the neck. The narration even specifies that the bullet "traveled downward, exiting through his throat."

JFK Assassination: Father, Son Probe Single-Bullet Theory

This shows the SBT trajectory depiction used in NOVA's 2013 Cold Case JFK documentary. It has JFK sitting straight up with his head held upright, and yet it has the bullet hitting at the base of the neck, above the throat wound, and even going through the top of the shirt collar to hit above the throat wound, ignoring the fact that the hole in the back of JFK's shirt was over 5 inches below the collar. And, of course, it has the bullet traveling downward through JFK's neck.

The Kennedy Assassination: Beyond Conspiracy

This is Dale Myers' SBT trajectory animation.

It is a particularly curious, confused, and misleading animation. To his credit, Myers has JFK sitting upright with his head tilted only slightly forward, and he actually places the back wound about 5 inches below the coat collar, but things go badly downhill from there.

For starters, when Myers shows the back wound's location, he doesn't show the shirt collar. A number of photos/footage show that part of JFK's shirt collar was visible above the coat collar.

Then, when he shows a frontal view of JFK to illustrate the alleged exit point in the throat, he has the coat collar riding up so high on JFK's back that it's about an inch above JFK's hairline, which markedly contradicts his depiction of the coat collar in his portrayal of the back wound's entry point. With the coat collar so high on the back, it gives the visual impression that the back wound was above the throat wound. Even worse, he leaves the coat collar in this fictional position from that point onward in the video.

When Myers first shows a trajectory line from JFK's throat, he shows the bullet traveling downward toward Connally and apparently on a downward trajectory from the back wound. I say "apparently" because Myers initially provides no trajectory line into JFK's back and no line through the neck. He only shows a trajectory line exiting the throat.

But, 41 seconds later in the video, when Myers does show a trajectory line from the back wound through the throat wound, he has the bullet entering the back at a point above the throat wound and traveling downward through the neck, even though he still has JFK sitting upright with his head only slightly tilted forward.

Has Myers never read what the HSCA FPP's report says about the trajectory through the neck, i.e., that the bullet entered and tunneled at an upward angle, not a downward angle? Has Myers never seen the HSCA FPP's diagram of their SBT trajectory, which shows Kennedy's head and torso tilted substantially forward? Has Myers never seen Dr. Baden's demonstration of how far forward JFK would have had to be leaning to make the FPP's SBT trajectory align with the sixth-floor window?

In an amazing statement of falsehood, Myers says that JFK and Connally "react at the same time"! Do the media outlets that have aired Myers' animation not have any fact checkers? Not even the WC made this demonstrably false claim.

Also, Myers has the alleged SBT bullet hitting JFK and Connally in Z224, even though Connally himself -- you know, the guy who actually experienced the wounding -- said he was certain he was not hit before Z229.

To read about more of the problems with Myers' SBT trajectory animation, see veteran JFKA researcher Robert Harris's demolition of it:

Dale Myers' Single-Bullet Presentation Destroyed

Dr. John Lattimer's various SBT trajectory illustrations showed the entry point at C3/C4, visibly above the throat wound, and showed the bullet traveling downward through the neck (e.g., "Two of Dr. John Lattimer’s Single-Bullet Theory Trajectory Illustrations"). WC apologists in this very forum have posted Lattimer's fictional SBT trajectory diagrams to defend the SBT. Matt Douthit presents two of Lattimer's SBT diagrams in this excellent video with Pat Speer:

Lattimer Revisited

Speer and Douthit not only debunk Lattimer's SBT claims but also address other issues related to the shooting, such as the bunched-clothing theory and the Thorburn-position myth. They also point out that the T1 location destroys the SBT.

Of course, Lattimer did his diagrams to support CE 385, the WC's diagram of the SBT's supposed trajectory through JFK's neck, which puts the back wound above the throat wound and shows the bullet traveling downward through the neck. The diagram was drawn under Dr. Humes's direction for the WC. The diagram is cited three times in the Warren Report and was published as one of the WC's exhibits (16 H 977). You can view it here:

Just another load of crap. If you cannot explain the trajectory through Gov Connally and the medical analysis of his wounds in the context of a separate shot, then this is what it appears to be, just another failed crapped out Michael Griffith theory. Before you make a complete fool of yourself maybe read up on what is in involved in the Lattimer, Posner, Meyers theory. A better suggestion would be to go back to your headwound theory. At least it was always good for a laugh.

The photo of Arlen Specter holding a rod with two Secret Service agents sitting in for JFK and JBC shows a shot entering JFK's back 5 1/4 inches below the top of his jacket, exiting at the level of the knot in his tie, and striking JBC where it did was on downward trajectory all the way. The back entrance was NOT below the throat exit.

The second image shows the right-to-left diagonal of the bullet, holding the rod above the entry point. He couldn't show both the horizontal and vertical planes of the shot at the same time without skewering the agent.

You sound like a teenager trying to lie and insult his way through an argument that he knows he's losing, and losing badly.

Here's a bit of basic logic for you: The fact that a bullet fired from the sixth-floor window could not have hit and transited JFK's neck at an upward angle unless JFK had been leaning far forward, coupled with the fact that we know he was not leaning far forward, proves that the shot could not have come from the sixth-floor window. Thus, the SBT is impossible from the outset, which means that your demand for a non-SBT trajectory through Connally is nothing but a silly evasion.

This is not to mention the fact, again, that WC skeptics have discussed non-SBT trajectories to and through Connally's torso, that Connally himself adamantly rejected any notion that he was hit before Z229, and that Dr. Shaw refuted your ridiculous 45-degree downward angle through Connally.

Objective people will notice that you are ducking and dodging the key facts discussed in my OP and in my replies.

The photos I posted of Arlen Specter demonstrating the single bullet trajectory shows a bullet path on a downward trajectory entering high on JFK's back, exiting at the level of the knot in his tie, and going on to strike JBC. Would you care to address those photos.

No, the 45 degree angle bullet track through JBC is a fact. Dr Shaw never refuted it. He never mentioned it. Dr Shaw was part of the WC testimonies not the HSCA Panel. How could he refute any of their findings?

The description of the wounds and the medical analysis by the doctors are facts. Everything else is your pretend make-believe nonsense. Your made-up hypothetical crap does not mean anything to anybody. Is this Single Bullet Theory the lynchpin of your whole ridiculous conspiracy theory? Is that why you pretend
these opinions of yours have some kind of merit, and they are just unfounded opinions.
