Does anyone deny that the HSCA, after a two-year investigation, was coming down on the side that JFK was assassinated by Oswald alone, but in a sudden rush, changed their mind because of an acoustic study that was presented in the last few weeks.

And this acoustic study seems clearly very flawed to me.

Sen. Richard Russell filed a dissent of sorts to the WC results, and later Rep. Hale Boggs and Sen. John Sherman Cooper said they no longer believed the WC findings.

Robert Blakey said even w/o the acoustics he would have gone with the final HSCA result.

That is the JFKA---always contentious.

Which shows that members of Congress are as prone to be gullible to nonsense as everyone else.

The facts haven't changed since the WCR was released 62 years ago. What has changed is the proliferation of myths surrounding the JFKA. Some people have been hoodwinked by the nonsense while others have rejected it.
