Determining a Timestamp for Darnell
« on: August 15, 2026, 11:54:31 PM »

The image above is the opening frame of Jimmy Darnell's footage of the immediate aftermath of the JFKA.
I would like to determine, to the second if possible, how long after the headshot this footage started.
One thing that should be visible in this footage is Dave Weigman getting out of the car in front and sprinting towards the concrete pergola on the GK.
The only thing that catches my eye at the moment is a detail off in the distance.

In the crop below, in the red circle are Umbrella Man and Dark Complected Man sat down.
In the yellow circle is the Newman's lying flat on the grass. The reason this is important is that there are no photographers stood around them. This is something that seemed to happen really quickly and it might be possible to use this detail for a timeline:

Dear danny BOY o'meara,

Gloria Calvery and her dressed-in-white colleague are already standing in a lower step, one of their other colleagues has already taken the long way to the TSBD by running through the pergola and down Elm Street Extension, and Officer Baker has already parked his bike, glanced around, listened to his radio, and run to the front steps by the time Darnell's so-called "opening frame" was shot.

Thanks for examining the current timestamp applied to Officer Baker running across the Island on the Darnell Film.
With your already looking at  the Newman Family laying down on the grass, also keep the Couch Film in mind. The Couch Film shows Wiegman running down the knoll between the Newman Family and the Stemmons Sign. I believe we are probably seeing Wiegman near the Stemmons Sign leg post that is closest to the Elm St sidewalk. I also think that we can see a dark figure above (N) of this possible Wiegman image. That dark figure on the ground would be Mumford.

None of that tells us how many seconds have passed before the opening frame of Darnell.

Read my lips, danny BOY o'meara.

What you've posted, above, isn't the "opening frame" of Darnell.

Please tell this Forum where we can see a Darnell Frame that was filmed prior to the one posted below. NBC/The Sixth Floor Museum would also probably be very interested.
