Maybe. It could equally be from the bullet that shattered on JBC's wrist bone.
Those bullets were fired almost 5 seconds apart.
There was an almost 5 second gap between both men being shot through and the headshot. The Z-film tells us that much.

I believe the most likely reason is the headshot created multiple sounds that sounded like they were right on top of each other. That could be the crack of a supersonic bullet. I have experienced that phenomenon for myself. I have a neighbor who fires a muzzleloader which isn't capable of firing two rapid shot and sometimes I hear a double sound from his shots. It could have been the sound of the bullet hitting JFK's head or the fragments from the bullet striking inside the limo. We know fragments hit the windshield and the frame. An echo? Maybe. There is no forensic evidence for shots from any weapon other than Oswald's Carcano. No wounds to either victim that did not come from behind them. We will never have a definitive answer as to why a multiple witnesses thought the last two shots were almost on top of each other. We just know they did get that impression.
