Hardly impossible if the first shot was not only possibly much later but was much later according to the evidence. If you are saying it is impossible that 25 witnesses who reported seeing JFK react to the first could be right, you are definitely overstating your position.

If the first shot hit JFK at Z222, there were only 4.9 seconds between the first and last shot. That means there had to be an intervening shot whether you believe the that shot was a miss or if it hit only JBC. The theoretical minimum time to fire 3 aimed shots was determined to be 4.6 seconds. That would have required Oswald to fire all three shots in just 0.3 seconds over the minimum required. It is rather ludicrous to believe Oswald was cycling the rifle as fast as humanly possible if he was trying to hit his target. But your entire scenario requires you to believe a number of ludicrous things so what's one more.

But there is evidence that puts the first shot much earlier:  just after z186 (e.g. Betzner) and just before z202 (Phil Willis) as the car approached the Thornton sign (z200, T.E.Moore) when JFK passed across Linda Willis’ sightline to the Stemmons sign (z195-z205-you can work that out based on her position in the zfilm). A first shot at z193 , which us where JFK begins changes to his head and hand positions, leaves 120 frames or 6.6 seconds to load, aim and fire two shots. JFK is already well into his reaction by z225.

Then, after delaying his reaction for 33 frames, 1.8 seconds, we see JFK suddenly make this dramatic reaction at Z226:

This, coincidentally, is the same frame JBC suddenly flips his right arm in the air, apparently in anticipation to being shot 44 frames or 2.4 seconds later. You are fooling yourself if you think you can see him waving after z198. He begins to drop his hand and turn forward after z193 if not a bit sooner. That we can see.  What we cannot tell is whether his hand is still up because he is still waving or because hasn’t yet moved it fully down yet. z198 is 275 milliseconds after z193. How much movement would you expect in the first quarter second after being shot through the neck?

Not only do you have no evidence that he is not already reacting well before z226, you would have to be suffering from dementia or acute tunnel-vision to be confident that JFK is not reacting well before:

You need to read more.  That motion is perfectly consistent with how JBC said he reacted to the first shot.
