New names on this forum
« on: Today at 12:10:48 PM »
I've noticed in the few days since the announcement that the Ed Forum was posted, there have been a number of names posting here that I hadn't seen before. I'm guessing these are people who have migrated from the Ed Forum.

Yes, but the Ed Forum is back up until at least June 20, so now they have a few more days to feed their JFKA addiction at that vastly superior site. I certainly hope no Serious Wackos migrate and alter the folksy charm of this place.

I think it was about 15 years ago, maybe more, that I tried to join the Ed Forum. My memory is a little fuzzy, but I think at the time they were not accepting new members although it's possible that was a different forum. I haven't noticed much difference int the quality of the discourse in any of the forums in which I was a regular. The one exception was the unmoderated alt. conspiracy.jfk. That was a no-holds-barred environment and that was obvious from the quality of the posts. I mostly stuck with McAdams' alt. assassination.jfk but would occasionally venture into the nuthouse just for fun.

Yeah, the Ed Forum had a few "names" attached to it. Like a Vegas marquee attracting your attention. You go inside and the place is stale. I won't speak ill of the dead or dying.
