How "JFK" has contributed to the deterioration of our national psyche

<< < (2/2)

Tom Graves:

--- Quote from: Jarrett Smith on February 06, 2026, 12:05:02 AM ---Agent Clint Hill [Secret Service]: Mrs. Kennedy was holding on to the President, his head still in her lap. “Mrs. Kennedy,” I said, “Please let us help the President…”

She would not let go.

That’s the one thing that I can’t get out of my mind– the picture of him lying in her lap– with his head exposed to me– just looking into the back of his head—into his brain– his eyes fixed—blood and brains and bone fragments all over the car.

It appears that Jarrett Smith is a prime example of the oodles and gobs of people who were zombified by Oliver Stone's KGB-influenced movie (which is the subject of this thread).

John R. Tonkovich:
For the record, I have never sat through the entire JFK film - seen snippets while channel surfing.
I recall Kevin Bacon as a gay guy ? and Kevin Costner's usual mediocre acting. I don't,  as  a general golden rule, learn my history from Hollywood films.

Now that movie came out in 91? 92?

I would think the release of the Zapruder film in the early 70s, the Pentagon Papers also around that time , and the Church Committee hearings in 75?  just to name a few things, certainly contributed - rightly so - to a general feeling of distrust of government in the "national psyche " long before Oliver Stone.

Which shows seven primary witnesses (including JFK, Jackie, and JBC) to Oswald's first, missing-everything shot at "Z-124" consciously reacting to it between frames Z-140 and Z-150, which shows JFK's and JBC's nearly simultaneous reactions to being hit from behind by CE-399 at approximately Z-222, which shows at least two of JFK's skull fragments flying in a forward direction, and which shows most of JFK's blood and brain matter being propelled forward.

Which, ironically, Kremlin-loyal FEDORA's telling Hoover and Nixon that the Kremlin had a complete copy of (it didn't) caused the latter to set up . . . wait for it . . . The Plumbers!

During which James Angleton testified about KGB Colonel Nikolai Leonov (aka "The Blond Oswald in Mexico City") and said that the guy at the Soviet Embassy who volunteered the Department 13-radioactive name "Kostikov" to a forgetful Oswald (or a "forgetful" Oswald impersonator?) over a sure-to-be-tapped-by-CIA phone line on 10/1/63, Ivan Obyedkov, was a Kremlin-loyal triple agent, i.e., whom the CIA mistakenly believed it had successfully recruited

Bummer, dude.

I'll politely disagree about your shooting sequence. And, if the Zapruder film was such a proof of the official story, why keep it hidden?

As to my second and third examples, Pentagon Papers and Church Committee,  I not sure I understand your reply.

Clearly, the Zapruder film was hidden to give the bad guys enough time to alter it and all of the photos and films that were taken in Dealey during the evil, evil, evil CIA's "executive action" against JFK!!!

--- Quote --- "I don't understand your comments on the Pentagon Papers and the Church Committee." (paraphrased)

The KGB took advantage of The Pentagon Papers to get Nixon to set up the nation-rending Plumbers.

We learn from Angleton's testimony to the Church Committee that the KGB may have used a Kremlin-loyal triple agent at the FBI (Aleksei Kulak) a Kremlin-loyal triple agent in Mexico City (Ivan Obyedkov) and an Oswald impersonator (Nikolai Leonov) to plant a Kremlin-protecting WW III virus in Oswald's CIA file on 10/1/63.
