I never said he shot anybody. I suggest that he was recruited by the mob to do "something". Who knows what they recruited him to do? I think it is very possible that Marcello was taking orders from Sam Giancana due to one small shred of circumstantial evidence, the soldier and his wife travelled to Chicago from New Orleans at some point but I don't know the dates. Was he transmitting a message?
