Oh no the race card again 
It may not be racist but it's sure comes across to me as religious bigotry. The same type of bigotry that JFK had to face because of his religion. That is because he was Catholic that his devotion was to Rome, to the Pope, and not to America. Muslims are not unpatriotic simply because of their religion.
Mamdani comes across to me as un-American, someone with a dislike for the country; but it's not because he's a Muslim. It's because he's a radical leftist and historically the hard Left has always disliked much of the US. Sometimes for legitimate reasons but often for unfair ones. Politics not religion is the problem.
I still find it bizarre that someone thinks he would let terrorists set off a nuclear device in New York. And not try to stop it. He would allow his family and friends and supporters and millions of others die because of his religion? If that's the view then, yes, *that's* bigotry.
