On the Trail of Delusion, Episode 25 with Dale K. Myers

It was a real pleasure talking with Dale Myers about the Tippit shooting and JFK assassination conspiracy theories. Dale also presented a neat computer recreation of the Tippit shooting.

I would like to hear any and all criticisms of anything Myers says in this interview with Fred Litwin.  If you have a problem with something Myers said, post it here and let's discuss.

As Myers goes through the computer recreation of what happened, of the Tippit shooting, he indicates (implicitly if not explicitly) that not a single witness to the prelude, to the setup of the shooting, mentioned seeing two men walking together down the street. Benavides, Brewer, Smith, Scoggins, Burt, Markham - who am I forgetting? - all said they saw a man, no one with him, that was questioned. One man. No mention of another one.

So where do the conspiracists say, per Clemmons' account, this supposed accomplice came from?

Thanks Fred, so much of that interview really resonated with me, like the futility of debating CT Zealots, Markham's 1:06 is set in stone but her Oswald identification was the result of a screwball, the Roberts "about 1PM" estimate means exactly 1PM, Roberts saying "just long enough, I guess, to go in there and get a jacket and put it on" is totally refuted by her "maybe not over 3 or 4 minutes" which BTW is usually interpreted at 4 minutes, but in reality using the term of "minutes" is just a figure of speech.
Also fascinating was the computer generated recreation of the Tippit shooting location and the following attempted "suicide by cop" in the Texas Theater, I have long held the same belief, Oswald's Walker letter where he says "If I am alive..." was how he thought his life would end and of course his Russian suicide attempt he outlined in his "Historic Diary", Oswald was willing to die for cause and/or just had a death wish.
For anyone who is a student of this assassination, I strongly suggest to watch this video and at least the Tippit reconstruction @56:00 and witness the culmination of Dale's accumulated decades of reasoned research.

In the computer graphics aided recreation all the major players and their locations are clearly represented, here in this one small segment we see the positions of Oswald, Tippit, Benavides, Markham, Scoggins cab, the Davis sisters house, Jack Tatum, etc.

On cue, here's an hour-plus of Robert and Janet Groden's laughable takes on the Tippit shooting:

Thanks, Fred. Your interview with Dale Myers is simply outstanding. It's brimming over with facts and informative tidbits of information about the Tippit shooting. Just terrific. I'm sure I'll be revisiting it several times in the future. (I've added it to my own Dale Myers webpage as well.)

BTW, yesterday (October 15th) was Dale Myers' 70th birthday. So, Happy Birthday to Dale!

BTW #2 -- Here's a link to Dale's Wikipedia page (which I didn't even know existed until just a few minutes ago):

If only more conspiracy fantasists would wake up to this basic, immutable fact....
