The HSCA concluded there had been a gunshot from the GK, and certainly many witnesses thought so.

The HSCA, led by "The Mafia Had to be Involved" Blakey, based their GK conclusion mostly on its since-debunked "analysis" of the Dictabelt recording.

Sam Holland and co-workers thought they saw smoke on the GK.

If so, it could have been from the revved-up motorcycles and cars.

A Dallas sheriff and a Dallas PD officer both said they encountered a man flashing Secret Service credentials on the GK.

Didn't that turn out to be [fill in the blank]?

As for the acoustical evidence...I don't understand any of it.

The important thing is that the crucial bit wasn't from a stuck-open microphone on a DPD motorcycle about fifty yards behind the limo, but from a stuck-open microphone on a DPD three-wheeler near the Trade Mart.

I can see the Z-film online, frame-by-frame, and draw my own conclusions.

So, as I say, IMHO, caveat emptor, and draw your own conclusions.
