Ben Bradlee, Jr Correspondence with Carrico, McClelland, and Perry
(1/1)
Mitch Todd:
HSCA-era letters to Bradlee and his team from three of the Parkland ER doctors. I thought I'd lost these years ago in a move, but found them recently while cleaning out old stuff. I don't think I've seen these posted anywhere online, so I scanned them for everyone's benefit.

Thank you very much Mitch. These documents are quite interesting. I had not seen them before now.
Steve M. Galbraith:
Good stuff; primary material, thanks.
McClelland's admission that his recollections could be wrong is revealing: "If the autopsy photo looks different then I recollected wrong, or the photo was taken at another angle or something."
And: "There are very few things I am certain of anymore. The older I get, the less certain I am of anything. I think there are very few things in the Kennedy case that one can be certain of."
The article that was based on the interviews can be read here: http://jfk.hood.edu/Collection/Meagher%20Sylvia%20Clips/Autopsy%20Photos%20X-Rays%201972/Autopsy%201972%2057.pdf
Closing paragraph from the piece: "Whatever the answer [for the different accounts of the location of the wound], it is likely that few will be satisfied..."
Tommy Shanks:
Thanks for these fantastic primary source documents, which will undoubtedly send medical evidence conspiracy theorists fumbling for their "well, what about..." listicles...
Royell Storing:
"PRIMARY Source Documents"? These missives do contain dates specifying when they were conveyed. 17+ years after the assassination DQ's "Primary" being applied to them. The dates of these "documents" is far closer to the release of "The Men Who Killed Kennedy" (1988), than the JFK Assassination itself. Context being applied to all things is Crucial. Slow your roll and give this "pen pal" correspondence some serious thought.
