I've obtained those tapes a few months ago. The "technical surveillance" was requested by Earl Warren through Lee Ranking to Edgar Hoover. RFK authorized the surveillance. The surveillance was revealed by the New York Times in 1975. The surveillance took place in late February 1964. Imagine what hidden recording could have revealed had they been done on November 23,1963.

In the tapes, we learn that Katya Ford who is the one talking on the phone with Marina was in Mexico at the same time as Lee was! Did they meet?
