How was Earlene Roberts on trial? The WC never even confronted Earlene with Johnson's revelation!

  Clearly Roberts was put on trial. The goal being to paint her as being elderly and "wanting" and/or "needy". And why would they confront her with the Johnson allegations? That would have given her the opportunity to refute those accusations.
