JFK Mouth Movement In The Zapruder Film
« on: September 16, 2023, 02:53:47 AM »
There is mouth movement, very obvious, by JFK just before the fatal shot, as shown in this clip from the Zapruder film.
I noticed this when I purchased my first Robert Groden film back in the 70's, sold through Penn Jones.

My opinion he is gasping for air.

Second thought is he spitting out blood after passing the pole?

JFK appears to be pointing his left forefinger towards the right, at what?

Personally, watching the portion of the Zapruder film in which JFK is hit is disturbing to me. So I typically only view it when necessary. This clip does depict some interesting details which I haven’t considered before. It appears to me that at the very beginning of the clip that JFK has his head turned so that he is looking directly at Jackie. Then his head suddenly drops so that he is looking down toward her lap. And he does appear to be trying to say something and appears to be pointing toward his throat with his left index finger. However, with a wound in his trachea below his larynx it is doubtful that he could actually speak. Jackie appears to be trying to see what is wrong with JFK but also appears to have been momentarily distracted by what Connally is saying/doing. Such a sad moment in time and one of the reasons so many of us continue to be interested in the assassination.

Actually, his finger is curled inward giving the appearance that he's pointing to this throat, but I'm not convinced that that is what he's doing.  The first signs of the extended index finger occurs at Z-228, but the right hand blocks our view of it, and frame 230 is the clearest frame showing the extended finger, but the spots on the film frames from age are blocking the view of the finger in that frame.
