Why did they let a Patsy have a Press Conference?

Well Oswald looked guilty with that bruised eye and his disheveled overall appearance. And they already knew he was a little  kooky and knew he was an  ex USMC defector. So displaying the patsy early in the process so the public would fixate on him and start prejudging him to be guilty ( just as Ruby seems to have done) is a good reason to display Oswald to the TV world.

Lying openly with insanity has its consequences.  Par example, my old acquaintance Edwin (aka Culto) from the Letsroll forums kept posting that 9/11 victim Ingebord Lariby was still alive.  Worse than ghoulish!  Eventually, after legal steps were taken without any action to stop this, measures were taken, and he had a visit.  Nothing like Louie from Brooklyn might do, but close.  I hope the rest of the Paine family are still
