Far out.  And what was LBJ's signal to give the "go" ahead?  How did he transmit this signal to the assassin in the few seconds between when he could see the red rings and the first shot was fired?

After LBJ gave the "thumbs up" the hit team leader simply lit a big firecracker ( some folks thought it was a motorcycle backfire, while other witnesses thought the noise of the first explosion was a railroad torpedo)
Everybody in Dealy Plaza heard the "open fire" signal and reported that the first explosion sounded different than the gun shots which followed.

Wow.  That is quite a story in which someone paints red circles on the TSBD unnoticed.  LBJ has only a few seconds to see these red circles before giving the "hit team leader" a "thumbs up".   Why they would wait literally to the last second for this signal is left unexplained.  Why a signal is needed at all if they were already in agreement on this is also unclear.  This hit team leader lights a firecracker amidst the crowd and it goes off.  No one sees him do this.  The assassin at some other part of DP is able to hear this signal amidst the noise of the crowd and motorcade and then shoots JFK.

Read what Howard Brennan reported.....  Bennan said that he got the impression that a firecracker had been tossed out a TSBD window....

Thank You..... Been a bit "down" ....But feeling better with the returning sun and warmer weather.

I'm still very disappointed that so many researchers base their research with Lee Oswald as a major part of the equation.   None of them will ever know the truth about the murder........

Glad to hear you're feeling better.

Very silly.  Oswald wanted historical credit not legal responsibility for his act.  He had no intention of helping the authorities send him to the electric chair.  He had no idea that he had less than 48 hours to live after the assassination.  For all Oswald knew, he had years to tell the world the truth.  It was the only card that he still held to avoid being sentenced to death.  He was not going to give that away until he had legal counsel and an opportunity to cut a deal.

"Richard" fancies himself a Lee Oswald channeler.

Again, I cited evidence confirming that red circles were used on Dallas buildings for fire safety purposes including the 1941 newspaper article that makes reference to them.  Again, whether you believe that the use of the red circles for fire safety is useful or not for their intended purpose is not relevant to that issue.  The fact remains that they were so used.  I am not a historian of Dallas fire safety requirements that can trace the entire history of use of red circles.  That is not necessary for the limited purpose of this context.  We know with absolute certainty that such red circles were used for fire safety purposes.  End of story.

This photo was taken in March 1962. Enlarge the photo and you'll see that the circles are in the windows. Amazing how the conspirators knew that Kennedy would be traveling through Dealey more than a year later.  ::)

Where is the date on the photo?    Tress in full leaf in March?
