People who elect socialist mayors like the ones in New York, Chicago, and Seattle deserve anything and everything bad that happens to them. As their livers become shittier and shittier, as they surely will, I'm going to sit back and laugh at their plight. They made their bed, now they can lie in it. Socialism doesn't make anybody's lives better. The goal of socialism is to make everyone's lives equally miserable.

Some of these people that live in these states are trapped. They do Not vote for these clowns and can Not afford to move. They are modern day slaves stuck inside a plantation.

They need to get motivated and turn out in greater numbers and outvote the crazy leftists. The turnout rate in New York when Mamdani got elected was the largest for a mayoral election in 50 years which indicates to me the socialists were far more motivated than the normal people. That said, these people are victims but it is not my responsibility to rescue them from socialism. They will have to figure out how to do that themselves.
What will happen is the millionaires will largely move out of the city into the suburbs or move to low tax red states. That means the middle and lower classes will shoulder an even larger share of the tax burden. The problem with socialism is it soon runs out of other people's money to steal from the rich and give to the poor. Mamdani is already finding out New York can't pay for a fraction of the "free" things he promised and it is only going to get worse as the tax base shrinks.
