  We produce plenty of our own oil here in the USA. This is due to Trump's "Drill Baby Drill" philosophy. Not Biden's draining of our Strategic Oil Reserve to artificially keep the price of gasoline down during his 4 yr sleep walk. Those Iran clowns are shot full of holes, hiding in spider holes, and the country as a whole is also in shambles. That place is not much better than France was at the end of WW 2. That said, France celebrated the USA liberating them, as will Iran when Trump says, "We're done here". This is a waiting game that Trump knows the USA wins without breaking a sweat. Those butt heads over there can Not even find a downed pilot in the middle of a desert. That said it all right there. What we have witnessed is Cave Men fighting with Buck Rogers.

...then announced this morning it was closed.

It seems likely there are competing factions for control of the country and they don't speak with one voice. We still hold the Trump card. They can't sell their oil if they don't reach a deal with Trump. We will find out soon enough who is calling the shots over there. If they don't deal, they can't sell their oil and if they can't sell their oil, their regime will collapse. They know that.

   So we pay a little more for gas. So what? Some of us remember the 70's when there was literally no gas. Gas stations were closed with literally no gas on hand. People were unable to drive to work, school buses shut down, etc. Paying a little more for gas is worth the short term pain to remove these jerk wads from holding the world hostage via the straits stuff. And then there's the hanging of dissidents in their public square. "Braveheart" stuff. These savages gotta go. And Trump is the only leader with the Balls to make that happen.

I wasn't around during WWII but people on the home front were asked to sacrifice a lot more than Americans are today. Their gasoline was rationed. So were staples such as sugar, meat, and coffee. New cars weren't produced for 4 years because auto factories were converted to productions of tanks, aircraft,
jeeps, etc. I can't get too worked up for whiny people who have to pay a bit more for gas at the pump for a few months. Suck it up, buttercups.

I don’t see any reason for China or Russia to be wiling to send aid to a radical Islamic regime that if they ever were in their wildest delusional dream to become the dominant world empire would have no problem at all following their false death cult version of Islam that says KILL ALL THE INFIDELS. Which would include the vast majority of Chinese and Russian people along with USA and European people and most of India too.
