LOL.  Republicans make no secret that they are free market capitalists.  Most on your list work hard to create their wealth.  Can you see the contrast with Mamdani?  He is an avowed Commie.  And yet had had enormous wealth that comes from his family.  He has never had a job or created anything.  He can play the Commie because none of his policies have any implications for his own privileged status.  There are no homeless or crime in his neighborhood.  The people who will bear the consequences of his policies are the poor and middlle class who do not live in his protected neighborhood.

 :D  BS:

AI Overview
The statement "Mamdani is a avowed Commie" is false. New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani explicitly identifies as a democratic socialist and has denied being a communist. He has repeatedly pushed back against opponents, most notably Donald Trump, who have falsely labeled him as such. Experts on political theory have also pointed out the differences, noting that Mamdani's proposals are not communist.
Key distinctions and facts about Mamdani's political identity and platform:

Democratic Socialist, Not Communist: A fact-check by Al Jazeera confirmed that Mamdani is not a communist, based on interviews in which he has stated his political affiliation. The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), of which he is a member, uses democratic processes to achieve its goals.

Property Ownership: Unlike communism, which involves state control over all means of production, Mamdani does not advocate for the collective ownership of private property.

Limited Government Intervention: Political experts confirm that a communist agenda involves the government owning and controlling all businesses and setting prices, a system Mamdani is not advocating for. His proposals are for targeted government programs, not total control.

Specific Policy Goals: His campaign platform includes specific proposals such as fare-free city buses, universal child care, city-owned grocery stores, a rent freeze on regulated units, and tax increases on high earners to fund these initiatives. Many of these policies, like public transit and subsidized child care, are common in other democratic countries.

The political context of the "Commie" label
The label "communist" is often used by opponents to attack Mamdani, but is widely seen by political analysts as a misleading tactic. It is used to suggest his policies are radical, and is considered a modern version of "red scare" tactics. The debate, however, has not deterred his progressive base, which has helped propel him to victory in the primary.

New York, Illinois, and Calif are lost causes. The worst of the worst are living "free of charge" inside these "sanctuary" states. They have taken them over. This includes the governing bodies therein.

BS: and you're in a cult.
Here is an AI overview disputing the garbage you peddle:

Sanctuary Policies in New York, Illinois, and California

All three states have enacted policies that limit the degree to which local law enforcement agencies can assist with federal immigration enforcement. The core of these policies is typically the restriction of compliance with ICE detainer requests—a non-judicial request from ICE for a local jail to hold an individual for up to 48 hours after their scheduled release so ICE can take custody.

California   California Values Act (2017)   Prohibits state and local law enforcement from using resources to assist ICE in most cases, including legally prohibiting local agencies from honoring ICE detainers.

Illinois   Illinois Trust Act (2017)   Prevents local law enforcement from detaining individuals based solely on an ICE request. It allows for holding an individual if there is a valid criminal warrant.

New York   City/Local Policies   New York City, and other jurisdictions, have long-standing policies, with NYC laws limiting cooperation with ICE unless an individual is convicted of a serious crime or a court-issued judicial warrant is present.

What you have posted above proves my point. These states are doing ALL they can to prevent outside law enforcement from eliminating the criminal element that resides inside their "sanctuary" state(s). People that have the monetary means, are moving out of these states. This is why Florida now has more electoral college votes than New York. This is also why Calif is doing all it can to hang onto every illegal alien possible. These illegal aliens inflate the state population and maintain the total number of Congressional Reps that Calif currently has. These Reps then vote for all kinds of federal boondoggle project $$ for the state. Stuff like that Bullet Train To Nowhere. Pelosi when in power was very good at ramrodding this garbage through Congress. The gross number of Congressmen/women also translates into California's Electoral College Vote Total. These illegals also provide a cheap labor force inside the state. Some people simply do Not have the means/$$ to move out of these states. Know it or not, they have been confined to a Modern Day "Plantation".

:D MAGAits make up their own news and statistics.

Here's AI Overview re: reliability in CATE Institute reporting
Multiple media bias and fact-checking websites provide insights into the Cato Institute's reliability:

Ad Fontes Media: Rates the Cato Institute as "Reliable, Analysis/Fact Reporting," placing it in the "Middle" category for bias.

Media Bias/Fact Check (MBFC): Gives the Cato Institute a "High" factual reporting rating but also notes a "Right-Center" bias. MBFC highlights that Cato consistently publishes well-sourced information, but its analysis strongly reflects its libertarian agenda.

SourceWatch: While also acknowledging Cato's libertarian positions, SourceWatch notes historical instances where its ideological stances have been prioritized over scientific consensus, particularly regarding climate change
