Fair point. The sense I got from her book though was that this is something that was documented somewhere and she just didn't happen to include that document in her book as she assumed other people in the research community knew about it and so it wasn't necessary to provide a reference to it. But that is just the sense I got.

But the problem with that is that she would be leaving herself open to being asked for this document at any one of her many conferences. And if she couldn't produce such a document she'd look like a fool.

It takes no more than a few minutes to join. With respect Jerry, you were the one who brought this up. If you want to seriously research this case sometimes you need to go the extra mile. I already know Baker won't produce the document. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that no such document exists.
