Happy days are here again:

"The Nasdaq Composite clinched a new closing record on Monday, exceeding the peak from August 6, finishing up 1%.

The S&P 500 (SPX), the broadest measure of Wall Street, ended just an inch below its February record."

And the polls are tightening.  According to CNN it's a virtual tie.  Uh oh Trump haters.

Sure, who cares about the Americans that are dying from covid-19 at a rate of one every 80 seconds?

And who cares about the unemployed and those that are being evicted, right?

As long as the stockmarket is doing well...... What a pathetic little man you truly are.

People who voted for Trump in 2016 are sharing the reasons they'll never do it again

Joanna Taylor

Former Trump supporters are sharing the reasons they won't vote for him again in 2020.

Trump's "lack of statesmanship" and "failure to lead this nation through the pandemic" have left some ex-supporters regretting how they voted in 2016.

The Twitter account Trump Regrets has faithfully retweeted thousands of people publicly retracting their support for the president. Their feed offers a perfect snapshot of Trump's biggest mistakes during the last two and a half years of his presidency.

Most recently, Trump's disastrous handling the coronavirus pandemic has turned former voters against him.

His "lack of statesmanship" have also turned former Trump voters against him and towards Joe Biden.

Trump's response to the Black Lives Matter protests disgusted some voters.
Trump was cautioned by Twitter for "inciting violence" after he tweeted "when the looting starts, the shooting starts"...

His phone call with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, which led to his impeachment, angered
Others.

Trump was eventually acquitted, despite the House of Representatives concluding that he had obstructed Congress and abused his power by withholding military aid from Ukraine to entice them to investigate the son of his political rival Joe Biden.

Tensions between the US and Iran, which culminated in the assassination of major general Qasem Soleimani, made Trump unpopular.

Trump's relationship with Russia is also a point of contention for former voters.

And finally, appointing judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court in spite of the assault allegations made by Dr Christine Blasey Ford against him was the final straw for some.

Of course, we won't really know how powerful Trump's detractors are until 3rd November.
Twitter is a notoriously bad political barometer, no matter how many thousands of people appear to have turned against the president.

But current polls put Joe Biden nine points ahead of Trump, with key swing states like Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin all appearing to support the Democrats – for now.

The race is still far from over, but Trump might have to try a bit harder than mindlessly repeating "we're gonna build a wall" this election cycle now that his opponents have four years of embarrassing mistakes and gaffes to draw on.
Self-inflicted pain. The nursing home staff are seeking out your family for an intervention.
Think about it like this now because it is going to happen again. "You are going to get beat for the second time by a game show host"   ha ha ha ha ha

How much of the "recovery" has been driven by the Fed?

So angry and upset at any good news for Americans.  I'm sure Old Joe has all the solutions to Covid-19.  He has probably been spending his time in the basement developing a vaccine.  He will wave a magic wand and make it all go away.  And his campaign promises:  higher taxes, open borders, paying for the education and health care of illegals, ending all US energy production which will result in tens of thousands of lost jobs and dependence on the Middle East.  And on and on until the entire country is a smoldering ruin like Portland, NYC, and Chicago!  I can't wait.  It's a miracle that the economy has survived the virus and incompetence of the dems.  Cuomo has 40K deaths on his hands.  Just wait until the investigations reveal his incompetence with the nursing homes.  How about those CNN polls?  A virtual tie within the margin of error.  Poor Roger Stone is assuming the fetal position.

The stockmarket being up is no good news for average Americans. It never had an impact on the lives of most Americans and it never will, no matter how much Trumps wants you to believe otherwise....

It's pretty obvious you don't give a damn about the people that have died and are dying from covid-19 or are unemployed and/or being evicted. Survival of the fittest, "Richard"?

How about those CNN polls?  A virtual tie within the margin of error.

Hilarious... Now polls suddenly count and CNN is no longer fake news.... Btw, you'd better have a closer look at that poll. Sorry to spoil your party.

How is it "obvious" that someone doesn't care about people dying from the virus to note good economic news?  Good economic news is good for everyone except Old Joe and Trump haters.  The stock market is a reflection of confidence in the entire American economy.  It is at all time record highs! The fact that haters such as yourself want to belittle any good news shows their true colors.  They prefer death and economic hardship to validate their hatred until the election.  That is not a winning formula.  No one wants higher taxes, open borders, the end of energy independence.  Those are platform promises imposed on Old Joe by the wacky left.   He has no idea what is going on.  A man who would be older on his first day as President as Reagan was on his last day.  Good luck with that.  CNN is a notorious fake news Trump-hating media outlet.  If they are showing the election within the margin of error, then it can't be good for Old Joe and Kantala.
