The question isn't whether they are or are not liberal; the question is whether they are part of, as you said, "far right" media. You wrote: "All media is far right."  All means all.

If you think the NY Times is "far right" because they have conservative columnists on their op-ed page or because they are critical of Cuomo then that is a twisted standard of "far right." They also have many liberal columnists and were critical of Trump. Why would a "far right" newspaper have liberal columnists and oppose Trump? Your argument makes no sense.

In any case: the NY Times and MSNBC and Washington Post and CNN are not part of the "far right" media.  And "all media" in the US are not "far right." Period.

I never said "all media" is far right. I said the far right wing media dominates the entire media. I said there is no such thing as a "Liberal Media" that right wingers lie about.

Old Joe was completely absent during the Texas disaster.  He shows up a week after the fact when the temps are in the 70s.  Gas prices are soaring.  Schools are still closed due to his paymasters at the teacher's union telling him what to do instead of the "scientists" at the CDC.  Illegal aliens are pouring across the border in record numbers.  Necessitating that they reopen the facilities that he condemned under Trump as "cages" for children.  No press conferences due to his cognitive limitations.  He knocks off early.  Heads home on the weekends.  His obvious mental and physical decline is painful to watch.  His buddy Cuomo is heading to prison.  And it's only been a month.

 :D :D :D

President Biden already visited Texas and supplied them with federal aid. Schools are closed because of Covid 19.

Same old b.s. and bogus disinformation.

Criminal Donald sat around watching Faux Propaganda all day and tweeting. Went golfing every weekend doing nothing while the pandemic went out of control.

Mr. Plant wrote: "Mr. Gailbraith has no clue what he's talking about. The "Liberal Media" is a myth and a talking point that right wingers use to play the victim and to justify buying up more media markets. "

Nowhere did I mention or write or say "the liberal media." Nowhere.

My post was challenging Mr. Plant's claim that, again, "All media is far right.dominated by the far right". That is what he stated.

My apology for the above: Mr. Plant said "dominated by the far right" and I erroneously left that out although I quoted it correctly in my original post above.

Again, by no reasonable standard can one say that in the US "all media is dominated by the far right." All means all. Not most but all. The NY Times is not far right. MSNBC is not far right. CNN is not far right. The Washington Post is not far right. The NY Times endorsed Mr. Biden for President and four years ago they endorsed Hillary Clinton for President. So did the Washington Post. Why would "far right" newspapers, as they allegedly are since "all media" is "dominated by the far right", endorse Biden and Clinton? It's illogical.

Whether they are liberal or not is a different question. The discussion is whether those entities are "far right" (they aren't) and part of this "dominated by" claim. If "all media is dominated by the far right" as Mr. Plant said then they must be "dominated". But these are major news organizations with great influence in America. They are not "dominated" by "far right" news stations across the country.

Note: I edited some of the above for clarity.

In any case, let's go back to the JFK assassination which is what Duncan wants us to talk about.

The CDC has confirmed that schools can safely reopen even before teachers receive the vaccine.  These are the same "scientists" that Old Joe relentlessly criticized Trump for not listening too.  Remember?  But now it's fine to disregard the "science" for political purposes because Old Joe's paymasters don't want to go back to work.  And the border situation is out of control after only a month of Old Joe's dereliction of his Constitutional duty.  Illegal aliens are pouring across the border in record numbers creating a humanitarian crisis:

"Members of the Domestic Policy Council were set to tell President Biden Tuesday that the number of migrant children who cross the southern border this year is on pace to exceed an all-time record — by 45 percent — citing unreleased data from the Department of Homeland Security."

You're forgetting (or more likely deliberately obfuscating) the part about it being necessary for schools to have strictly implemented mitigation strategies in place first, such as

- Universal and correct use of masks
- Physical distancing
- Handwashing and respiratory etiquette
- Cleaning and maintaining healthy facilities
- Contact tracing in combination with isolation and quarantine, in collaboration with the health department

Until schools are doing this consistently and universally they are not safe to reopen for in-person learning.

This is true. QAnon has not yet released the data but are expected to do shortly.

Headline:  Merck and Johnson & Johnson vaccine: How the White House convinced two pharmaceutical giants to collaborate

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/merck-and-johnson-johnson-vaccine-how-the-white-house-convinced-two-pharmaceutical-giants-to-collaborate/ar-BB1ecG4h?ocid=msedgntp

Quote
. . .

Preliminary conversations that began under the Trump administration about a vaccine manufacturing partnership between the pharmaceutical giant and its competitor, Merck, whose own vaccine attempt had failed, were "incremental" and going nowhere fast, according to two senior administration officials. And Johnson & Johnson seemed reluctant to commit to a large-scale deal with Merck, the officials said.

. . .

That changed when Jeff Zients, the White House's coronavirus czar, called Johnson & Johnson's CEO Alex Gorsky on a Sunday in early February and urged the company to meet the moment, stressing that the US is in a "national emergency" and that it was time to go "big and bold."

"You can't be incremental and small in your thinking. We have to overwhelm this problem," one senior administration official said, recounting the conversation, which lasted an hour more than the scheduled 15 minutes.

Zients reminded Gorsky -- a West Point graduate and US military veteran -- of Johnson & Johnson's major contributions during World War II, including manufacturing the first-ever duct tape and other military supplies. Just as Americans remembered Johnson & Johnson's contributions then, its efforts to accelerate the vaccination of Americans would be their new legacy, Zients said, according to two senior officials.

"That was really a turning point," one of the officials said, noting that Gorsky "embraced" the approach and discussions about a large-scale partnership with Merck quickly turned more serious.

President Biden hired a very good man, Jeff Zients, to be the coronavirus czar. Zients did his research and found two important points:
1.   The CEO of Johnson & Johnson Alex Gorsky was a West Point graduate.
2.   He found out the history of Johnson & Johnson’s contributions during World War II.
Good research allowed Zients to make the most important sales pitch of his life. Gorsky had the opportunity to have Johnson & Johnson makes its greatest contribution to the United States since World War II. Subcontracting large projects is just as effective in the twenty-first century as it was in the twentieth.

This overcame the policy that, if implemented, would maximum Johnson & Johnson’s profit, at the expense of not maximizing vaccine production. Yes, Zients could have forced Gorsky to do this. But Gorsky will pursue this policy with greater enthusiasm and likely effectiveness when this became his mission.

This shows what can be accomplished by a competent administration that is not totally distracted by trying to overturn a fair and free election.
