Highlight, for me, of “Celebrating America” with Tom Hanks was Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard performance of “Undivided”.

Crack the champagne boys and girls!   Welcome to the New World!  It will be the age of prosperity, no riots and freedom for all!

On a sad note, is it true that 25% exodus rate has occurred in New York City in the last year as people leave?   Is it true that is why Cuomo decided now that he can no longer continue "lockdowns" because he will have no longer have a tax base left to fund his regime?    Is the big apple being gnawed down to the core?

Give it a bit of time. Now that the Orange one is gone, it'll all return to normality soon enough.

Richard is all ready for Joe Biden's Inauguration. He sounds super excited.

Happy Inauguration Day Richard.

Last 45 minutes for Seditious Donald as the worst "President" in history.

A great day for the whole world.

I wish him all the best as any citizen of the United States should.  We are all in this together.  It is unfortunate that others prefer division and even relished in the death and suffering of their fellow citizens over the last four years to fulfill their compulsive, hate filled agendas.  Old Joe's long political career is deprived of much evidence of success but miracles can happen.  So I'm hoping for the best.  President Trump left him a record high stock market and miracle vaccine to end the pandemic.  Even Old Joe shouldn't be able to screw that up.  But you never know.  As Obama said, "Don't underestimate Joe's ability to fuck things up."

Yeah, that's really how you show that "We are all in this together".  What a hypocrite.  What Trump left Biden is 400,000 dead, highest unemployment since Hoover, insurrectionist riots, and racial unrest.

The reason there was no vaccine briefings is because this fraud never had a plan to begin with. That phony book used as a prop for the 60 Minutes program had nothing but blank pages. Just more smoke and mirrors from a fake con man. The worst part of it is many more people are going to die because of the criminal Trump administration. Good thing we have Joe Biden taking care of this health crisis and disastrous economy that he inherited from failure Seditious Donald who was the worst jobs "president" in history. He is a loser and had no idea how to create a job.

Trump Had No Vaccine Plan

Newly sworn in President Joe Biden and his advisers are inheriting no coronavirus vaccine distribution plan to speak of from the Trump administration, sources tell CNN, posing a significant challenge for the new White House.

Axios: Biden set to immediately ramp up federal pandemic response.

Biden Inherits Worst Job Market of Any Modern President

“Another 900,000 people filed new unemployment claims last week, President Donald Trump’s last in office, a snapshot of the significant labor market challenges facing President Biden,” the Washington Post reports.

“An additional 423,000 people in 47 states filed new claims for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, the program created to help gig and self-employed workers.”

“Altogether, nearly 16 million people were claiming benefits as of Jan. 2, the last week available for that measurement. That number is expected to increase in the coming weeks as people who were dropped from the unemployment rolls after their benefits expired file new claims to take advantage of the extension passed by Congress at the last minute in December.”

Legal Scholars Say Trump Can Be Convicted

“Former President Donald Trump can be convicted in an impeachment trial for his role in inciting the Capitol insurrection on Jan. 6 even though he is no longer in office, a bipartisan group of constitutional law scholars wrote in a letter Thursday,” Politico reports.

Professionalism Returns to the White House

Jonathan Bernstein: “If there’s one thing that’s going to be obvious about the brand-new administration of President Joe Biden, it’s going to be professionalism. Jobs are going to be filled, from the top down and with few exceptions, with people who know how to do them. Many officials will be returning to government after a brief four years on the outside — perhaps a step above their old levels, but well within their competence. Others will move from state government.”

“There will be plenty who are new to government, but most of them are (judging from what we’ve seen so far) well-credentialed, with the expertise that their jobs demand.”

Trump Businesses See Sharp Revenue Decline

“Former President Donald Trump saw sharp revenue declines across his family businesses last year as the Covid-19 pandemic took a steep toll on the Trump Organization’s hotels and golf resorts, a marker of the many financial challenges Mr. Trump faces after leaving the White House,” the Wall Street Journal reports.

“Newly released data from the Office of Government Ethics shows that the minimum revenue generated by Mr. Trump’s businesses fell by nearly 40% from a year earlier, and declined even more at some of the company’s most lucrative properties.”

“The issues facing the Trump Organization are likely to get worse in the coming months.”
