... let's also consider all the other earwitnesses in between the grassy Knoll and the Depository who would by definition be in a better location to pinpoint a sound direction from either end and practically all who gave testimony or interviews say the shots came from a single direction.
[That's just it...those who heard shots from the overpass direction were not considered also there were not all that many...everyone knows this.]
Btw why setup a single lone nut as a patsy then leave yourself open to being exposed with multiple gunmen and to top it off you have one of your assassins in the opposite direction?
Triangulation! To make sure and get the job done. The bases were all covered by the authorities.

Earwitnesses hearing crossfire would have to indicate a conspiracy, but as far as I know out of the vast numbers of witnesses who heard shots they said the shots seemed to come from one direction.

And we know for a fact that both Kennedy and Connally were shot from behind and the steel frame around the windshield also shows damage which must have come from behind the Limo so without crossfire earwitnesses we can only assume that all the shots came from behind.
