Gordon Arnold was on leave after finishing his basic training. In his uniform, he finds a spot in front of the stockade fence on the grassy knoll, and starts filming the cavalcade. He suddenly hears a shot whistle past his left ear from behind him, and, probably due to his army training,  immediately dives to the ground. His film is later was later passed to a D.P.D. officer and never returned. Neither the film or the Police Officer who took the film have ever been identified. His story seems to confirm that shot(s) were fired from the Grassy Knoll area.  I wonder what happened to his film. If it confirmed the official story then surely it would have surfaced.

I lived in Halifax NS for just over six months in 2005, at Parkland drive near the Clayton park area.

I've lived in Halifax a couple of times while trying to get "book learned". The first time was back in the early 80s. I was taking a 10 month course at the Nautical Institute at Pier 21. My teacher was from Scotland.
