Rick , Check out the rail road tracks in that picture ,,,,, They look awful familiar  ... lol .    Also per Gary Mack , The parking lot has been repaved several times since 1963 ... So the vehicles we see , are at a higher elevation today compared to 1963.  Thanks for the pixs Wes ,,,,

Jim, Yes, thank you for mentioning that  hugsxx They do look awfully familiar, don't they?  thumbs1xx I still think they're glimpsed in Nix...right where that "yellow car with the white top" is supposed to be  warrenxx

This picture was taken by the fountain in the Howard Brennen position.  After viewing the TSBD from his location, I find it implausible that Howard Brennen could identify the shooter.  He may have been able to see arms and the barrel of a gun but that's about it IMO.  Wes

Thanks for the pictures. The slope from TSBD to the underpass does indeed look steeper than I thought. Has any else used their GPS to roll down a slope similar to this at 12-13 mph? Having tried it in my European (much lighter and smaller than any American car, let alone an armoured one), I would say the brake lights coming on was inevitable if the car wasn't going to roll away from the rest of the convoy. Indeed, at such a speed, the shock of a bullet hitting someone behind you would make you jab at the break peddle if you were hovering above it.

Greer did not put the brakes on. The brake lights never come on. If he is driving in a low gear it helps keep the car to stay at a consistent speed.
