The CIA risked world war 3 in picking Oswald to be their patsy surely they could have picked a colored man to take the fall for the civil rights. Picking Oswald would have been a huge mistake and I don't buy it for a second. Oswald was so deranged and hateful of USA he might have been trying to bring on nuclear war.

What is silly is thinking that two turns that reduced the speed of the car to 8-11 m.p.h. is no big deal when motorcades are suppose to keep a 44 m.p.h. speed..R Caprio

"they" sure went through a lot of trouble setting up Oswald so "they" could invade Cuba.
Maybe "they" should have picked a Cuban instead of a white guy.

Are you saying the CIA were racists? I don't see what they would have stood to gain from attempting to start a civil war, white vs. black in their own garden. From what I understand, it was the CIA that leaked the story of LHO visiting Mexico and the whitehouse moved quickly to shut that story down as they did not want the country calling for an invasion of Cuba. Good point Vestan. Mexico was part of the setup. Hoover himself told Johnson that there was an impersonator of Oswald in Mexico.

Richard, the mob didn't need Cuba anymore. They had Vegas. Johnson and the military had a much larger target in Vietnam. LBJ's buddies in Brown and Root, General Dyanamics and Collins Radio got rich. Robert F Kennedy would no longer prosecute LBJ for crimes . The only thing Cuba had to offer was cigars, rum and sugar cane. Killing JFK is about two things power and money.Wes
