I found a decoder about a month ago, and used that to enable me to copy the disc.
I copied the DVD on to my hard drive.
To extract them, I had to make a short sequence containing the frames on Windows live movie maker, and saved it using the "For High Definition Display" option.
I then extracted the frames using Irfanview, which saved them at 1.920px × 1.080px in BMP format.

johnw,

You should really look into broadband internet my friend     hugsxx

I have the basic Roadrunner broadband. Not the turbo or turbo plus.
I had the file downloaded in 7 minutes.

And thank you Duncan! Now all I have to do is download Win RAR so I can extract the frames.

I'm not exactly sure John what my exact cost is. I have Time Warner Cable. Three TV's...all with the digital cable boxes to receive the High Definition channels, and Time Warner Cable's "Roadrunner Basic"...which is still plenty fast. I pay just over $100 a month for everything. I could upgrade to Roadrunner Turbo or Turbo Plus, but don't see any need for it. The basic Roadrunner broadband internet is plenty fast enough to satisfy me and my son. I suffered with dial-up myself for many years because cable TV was not available where I used to live. So for the longest time it was satellite TV and dial-up internet.

But I do believe the monthly fee is around $35-$45. Well worth it ;)

Thanks. Is there any way to include a text file explaining the process and adding some caveats?
Certain people here, and he knows who he is, will not understand that they are just seeing artifacts and dirt on the film, not real objects in Dealey Plaza. We don't need another generation of Morningstars cliaming that they can SEE dozens of bullets
in flight.
