AFAIK, the only member of JFK's immediate family to visit Dealey Plaza was Eunice Shriver in 1972. For obvious reasons, Jackie never returned, and JFK Jr. never visited before his untimely death. So that leaves Caroline. True, her journey would certainly be emotionally painful, but that hasn't stopped relatives of fallen soldiers from visiting sites like Pearl Harbor or Omaha Beach. Ditto the loved ones of 9/11 victims. If I were in her shoes, curiosity alone might propel me to the Sixth Floor Museum, but I'd never tell another person how to grieve.
