You all should stay on track instead of attacking each other. The reason you're all so passionate is underlined by Oswald's style in this interview.
Oswald's an enigma. The wording issue is indeed VERY valid, because Oswald is clearly suggesting that he has no knowledge of the Kennedy assassination. He's surely not playing the patsy card here, rather, he's playing the innocent victim, making sure to tell how a policeman hit him.
It's hard to believe him, but on the other side, we'll always be tainted by the overwhelming feeling against him. He certainly appears to be guilty, but the absence of ever getting a real chance to tell his side of things and a generally overwhelming belief of his guilt or at least complicity will forever leave him at blame.
But folks - follow one thing, and never forget it.
For the Dallas police to allow a man with organized crime connections to even be in that garage, without having been checked for a weapon, while transporting the man accused of the most notorious crime of the century....and why such a man would suddenly grow a patriotic streak and decide he needed his own personal revenge against the assassin....this is beyond a dismissable situation for those lone gunman folks. Really...I believe Oswald did it. And there's still an awful lot more to it than meets the eye, because Ruby's actions are as close to proof positive as you can get.
