Bob Prudhomme and John Mytton raised the problem of rearrangement of the boxes in the 6th floor East window. Dunno if we are talking of the same thing. I have a problem about postion of the boxes from outside. On this picture, side by side , we see different position of the boxes at 12h30. The different perspective does not explain the position of supplementary boxes at 12h30. It is not the only problem. renactment pictures and others show different arrangements. Register or LoginAccording to Powell, he made the right picture 30 seconds after hearing a shot. According to Jarman and Williams, they were not hanging out the window 1 minute after the third shot. Anyway, what happened to the box during this minute? Jarman testimony: Mr. BALL - How long was it before you ran down to the west end, from the time of the shots until you ran down to the west end, about how much time do you think it was? Mr. BALL - After the third shot was fired I would say it was about a minute. Bonnie ray williams testimony Mr. WILLIAMS. I think Jarman, he I think he moved before any of us. He moved towards us, and he said, "Man, somebody is shooting at the President." And I think I said again, "No bull ." And then we all kind of got excited, you know, and, as I remember, I don't remember him saying that he thought the shots came from overhead. But we all decided we would run down to the west side of the building. Mr. BALL. You ran down to the west side of the building? Mr. WILLIAMS. Yes, sir. Representative FORD.Ran down to the west side? You mean you were still on the fifth floor? Mr. WILLIAMS. Yes; we were on the fifth floor, the east side of the building. We saw the policemen and people running, scared, running--there are some tracks on the west side of the building, railroad tracks. They were running. towards that way.As a guest, you are not allowed to view links.

John , your perception of perspectives is not accurate. Please do a try with boxes, pieces of sugar and you will see the difference. There are a lot of litterature about the place of boxes as it is known in the sniper nest. A bout "idea", go to alt jfk conspiracy assassination archives on google and search on the 1998-1999 years and you will find my pics about boxes from the powell picture. Despite my old posts, i credited you and Bob about raising this subject. The powell picture has not enough datas to reveal a " tape" unless there was tape on every box. The glass (especially dirty glass) produce a loss of luminosity.Make a try with one of your glass at home ( sure they are cleaner than TSBD) and see the difference. If not, all astronomers would put the telescopes behind the windows instead of staying outside in cold nights.John, i have put the 3 d model of the boxes and the simulation and the result with light with proper intensity and inclination of the sun, percentage of haze, air opacity refraction coefficient on glass. So .. John, produce a model with cardboard and sugar, a light inclinated at 37 degrees, verify the light pacement with the help of As a guest, you are not allowed to view links.

In fact. plotting the lateral displacement from Dillard to Powell produces a superb fit for the boxes as seen in the windows. Clearly Speth is ignorant about perspective as well as most everything photographic.

Thanks god, you gave me a good night
Nobody is ignorant or stupid on this forum. And everybody can make mistake. I like to get opinions, contradictory opinions. I especially appreciate post and thread of John Mytton and Mike Williams because their corrosive and brillant minds are helpfull when a strong conviction can blind me.
I also appreciate thread and posts from many others like Gerda, Jim, Rick, Duncan, Anthony, Chris, Bob, almost everybody. I would like to meet you all, even you craig, i have never had problems with any photographer, so i'm sure we could speak about photography in front of a good beer. but i promise i will learn a better english and avoid personnal attacks. I was myself too hard with the guy called Francois Carlier.
This forum is very usefull and i'm ready to all kind of compromise to let it alive and healthy.

Here is the problem. When someone claims some level of expertise in a a subject and they make a simple mistake, fine. But to KEEP making simple mistakes over and over again, well, that just takes us to ignorance. I don't have a problem with ignorance. I'm completely ignorant when it comes to brain surgery for example. Thus I stay away from taking about it. If I were to talk about it the last thing I would want to do is argue with a true expert. That would tend to make me look very stupid. We have LOTS of people making LOTS of claims, and defending them even when they are dead wrong SIMPLY because they don't know anything about the subject...or more to the point, they know very LITTLE but think they can "understand" the rest. The solution is for people to actually LEARN. I for one have no intentions to become anyone's teacher. I will however willingly point people in the right direction, and even give examples for their use upon the path to real knowledge. Unlike almost every other aspect of the JFK case (and Apollo) claims against the photographic record can be checked and tested. All you need the knowledge of how it works.....this is not rocket science.
