Very interesting. It certainly does give the photos a whole new look. I cannot say what the object is in the display. I will say though, the head appears much more fragile, and damaged when looked at this way.

Michael, the picture is so far as I know taken not in this position. It is a device to prevent that the part of the skull, including of course hair and skin will fall open. And maybe we see then things that we not suppose to see. Best regards Paul.
