Didn't get a chance to see these great extra images until this evening. Robin, that type of rack has been put on pickups for as long as there have been pickups. Now you can buy them at places like Wal-mart, but in those days they were usually homemade...farmboys, don't you know. Not sure why you ask? I think the kid in the dark clothes in Altgens and Couch might run all the way across to the knoll, might be in Cabluck's photos.

Asphault patch and expansion joints seen in the Atkins frames above. As we see in the Atkins frame above and the Zapruder frame below Malcolm Summers hit the ground directly behind the yellow curb marker. And in the Zapruder frames Altgens is seen standing approx (5 - 7 ft) left of the yellow curb marker. Location Markers ( asphalt patch. construction joints, expansion joints. yellow curb markers ) Credit: Tom Purvis Expansion joints, yellow curb marker. Moorman,Babushka,Hill appear to be directly behind the yellow curb marker. Moorman appears to be lined up approximately with the "expansion joint" just to the left of Bill Newman the same expansion joint that Altgens is standing on

Although not called to testify before the WC, Malcolm Summers (among others) oral interview at The Sixth Floor Museum, will indicate where/when the last shot was fired as well.
Altgens was almost exactly 5-feet prior to the second yellow stripe. And, there appears to be a true "expansion Joint" in the concrete curbing at his location.

P.S. Neglected to inform that FBI Photographic Agent Lyndal Shaneyfelt, during the FBI assassination re-enactment and survey of 2/7/64, made drawings which showed the impact location of each of the three shots fired. To include the third shot and James Altgens position. Tom Always helps if one knows that I am not merely making this s**t up!

Curb drain inlet------ 2. Lamp Post------------ 3. Street Sign. Of the three aforementioned items, one of them is not present on the West Survey Plat (as introduced into evidence by the Warren Commission). However!!!!!---It is in fact on the original and true West Survey Plat. Tom Now, if a person only knew the WHY?
